This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
This isn't really enough to prescribe on. I will post my intake form which has instructions on how to give a good homoeopathic case.

GUIDELINES FOR GIVING HOMOEOPATHIC CASE INFORMATION

It is important to describe all your problems in as much detail as you are able. One word answers and short sentences are not particularly helpful. Discuss each problem one at a time, providing (as a minimum level of detail) the following information.

1. What exactly happens?
2. Describe all sensations and pains. Each pain or sensation should be described in such a way that allows us to imagine having the same pain.
3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring?
4. What creates some relief for the problem?
5. What triggers the problem into occuring?
6. What time of the day or night does the problem occur?
7. When did the problem start? What was happening in your life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started?

Move from one problem to the next, doing the same thing. IT IS VITAL THAT YOU GIVE A COMPLETE PICTURE OF YOUR HEALTH BY PROVIDING ALL PROBLEMS YOU HAVE, EVEN IF NOT CONNECTED TO THE MAIN ONE, AND EVEN IF YOU CONSIDER IT OF LESS IMPORTANCE.

You should address each problem separately using the above 7 questions as a guide. Do not put all your complaints into each of the 7 questions. Discuss one problem at a time. If you have, for example, a headache with nausea, do each component separately too (what makes the head pain worse or better, what makes the nausea worse or better).

As well as this, please describe any traumatic incidents that have taken place in your life. Discuss anything that has had a lasting impact on you mentally, emotionally or physically.

Discuss the way that you manage or deal with your problems, or any problems that occur in your life.

Discuss any patterns you have noticed in your behavior especially concerning your disease.

Discuss any part of your life where you feel stuck or unable to change and grow, especially where this occurred around the beginning of your disease, or as the disease evolved.

Describe your childhood and the kind of environment you grew up in, with reference to your relationships with your family, your school experiences, and any serious childhood diseases.

If your earlier discussions have not mentioned these already, please describe:

1. The specific foods that you crave (not just like) or hate
2. The specific drinks that you crave or hate
3. What your sleep is like
4. How the weather and the temperature affects you
5. What kinds of things in the environment you are particularly sensitive to
6. What your general level of energy is like
7. What your level of sexual energy or desire is like
8. Describe your menstrual cycle

9. Also give these details

a) Body type and build
b) Skin colour and texture
c) Areas of the body tends to perspire on
d) Odour of sweat, body, stool, flatus, urine
e) Colour of stool, urine, sweat

10. Give any reactions to vaccines or medical drugs

So in your case, as it is currently presented to us, there are a number of problems that must be expanded upon to find an appropriate medicine.

Tiredness

Depression

Low self-confidence

Menopause

Insecure

Indecisive

That would just be a start. Undoubtedly more questions would arise from your answers.

Hi,

I was just following the format that was in an earlier post.
My primary concern is Abnormal Pap.

1. What exactly happens? Not sure since I did not have an abnormal pap before.
2. Describe all sensations and pains. Each pain or sensation should be described in such a way that allows us to imagine having the same pain. Not really much pain at all.
3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring? Not sure since I don't know why I got it.
4. What creates some relief for the problem? Not sure since I don't know why I got it.
5. What triggers the problem into occuring? Not sure since I don't know why I got it.
6. What time of the day or night does the problem occur? Not sure since I don't know why I got it.
7. When did the problem start? What was happening in your life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started?

Right now, I got a pap smear done and it came back with possible HPV. and want to get rid of the hpv.

The pap smear will not help us to find a remedy. Your other symptoms are much more relevent to making a homoeopathic (holistic) prescription.

Becoming a good homoeopathic patient takes awhile to happen, so don't worry about it. Everyone has to learn to observe themselves, and present their symptoms, in a fashion completely unlike most other therapies. I just takes guidance and practice.

Which issue do I address? Frankly, I feel fine, I have a habit of sitting with one leg under my butt. that does make me a little sore over there, but I am worried about this HPV. I am supposed to see a ob/gyn. but I want to see what I can do before I see them. Otherwise, I am healthy.

So I want to be prepared, because I don't want problems in the future. I saw some suggest Thuja 10M. I do have a wart on my finger for over 15 years and I sometimes scratch. It usually peels right off when I do that.
So I am upset and worried about this pap smear with HPV.

goldengirl123 last decade
You have to address all of them. They all come from the same source. Your abnormal pap smear is a result of your ill health, and that is reflected on may different levels.

I listed the symptoms you gave that could be discussed further, to arrive at a remedy. Try starting with them.

Don't take Thuja 10m, you could end up with side effects taking the wrong remedy. We have over 5000 different medicines - the right one must be chosen for you on the basis of your overall health picture.

Homoeopathy is a completely different style of medicine - it does not give drugs for the name of a condition. It individualises the state of the patient to a very high degree, which also gives us a very high degree of precision when it comes to curing disease.

I guess my primary concerns would be menopause and the weight gain. Hopefully this answers the questions you provided.
1. What exactly happens? Menopause
2. Describe all sensations and pains. Each pain or sensation should be described in such a way that allows us to imagine having the same pain. Not really much pain at all. Just sometimes very heavy flow when I do get periods. Which is right now very irregular.
3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring? It seems to have gotten better since my periods don’t come very often now.
4. What creates some relief for the problem? Being warm
5. What triggers the problem into occurring? Not sure when period starts anymore. My periods used to be like clockwork.
6. What time of the day or night does the problem occur? Doesn’t really matter since when they are heavy. And some periods can be very scant, but the period can last 2 weeks that way.
7. When did the problem start? What was happening in your life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started? I was working at a very stressful job and moved to a new place.

Right now, I got a pap smear done and it came back with possible HPV. and want to get rid of the hpv.

Weight Gain
1. What exactly happens? Weight Gain
2. Describe all sensations and pains. Each pain or sensation should be described in such a way that allows us to imagine having the same pain. Not really much pain at all. Just weight gain. Usually feel pretty full after a meal. I did notice that I did not feel as bloated when I eat some gluten-free foods.

3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring? I don’t feel like eating at all. I could drink hot caffeinated tea all day. Usually I have it with cream and sugar. It fills me up. The doctor says I could retaining my weight since I am in starvation mode.

4. What creates some relief for the problem? Being warm
5. What triggers the problem into occurring? Sometimes just the thought of preparing food makes me full.
6. What time of the day or night does the problem occur? All day long
7. When did the problem start? What was happening in your life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started? Every time in my life, I enjoyed food. I gained weight. Now I gain weight, even though I don’t feel like eating. My family runs on the overweight side. My mom had a thyroid problem which went undetected for years.

I think you may have misunderstood me.

You cannot just choose one or two things and talk about those. As a holistic medicine all the problems in the health need to be explored to get a full picture. Most importantly are the mental and emotional aspects which will often be the deciding factors in choosing a homoeopathic medicine.

So we still need to discuss your depression, indecision, low confidence and insecurity. It is very likely they will be strong indicators for the best remedy for you.

When you describe a problem, giving it just a name is of no use to a homoeopath. 'Menopause' is not enough - the question was 'What exactly happens?'. I have treated many women for menopause over the years - they all have different types of menopause, different symptoms, different problems with it.

Inside of the menopause you seem to have a few issues - heavy and irregular menses, prolonged menses - is that all? No temperature variations, flushes, mood changes, sleep problems etc? How are the periods irregular, what is the flow like, are there clots or discharge?

The appetite/weight issue has one interesting symptom in it - fullness on thinking about food.

So it is important to discuss what we call your general symptoms, as well as outlining your mental/emotional profile.

Sleep
Mood
Fears
Dreams
Sensitivity to the environment
Medical history
Personal history (looking at those events that shaped or most strongly affected you)
Cravings for food
Aversions to food
Level of energy and enthusiasm for various activities
Environment you live in and its affect on you
Childhood issues and problems, health or otherwise

I guess my periods have usually been regular until now. I don’t feel like I have any control over them. They can be heavy or scant like but last a long time sometimes as long as 2 weeks. When I started menopause about 2 years ago, they were about 6 weeks long and heavy. I have a plantar wart on my right finger.
Sleep is good. I usually sleep about 6 hours a night.
Mood --- there are times, I am very crabby, but haven’t noticed a pattern to it.
Fears -- maybe insecure.
Dreams - None that I know of.
Sensitivity to the environment - very sensitive to people. I was in a domestic violence situation so I try to be careful to what I say. That is probably why I feel depressed, tired, low confidence etc. prefer warm, but hands and feet are cold.
Medical history - gall bladder surgery, Sometimes, I have been constipated usually about 1 a week. Noticed a tendency to cross my legs so tight it hurts, and also sit on one feet for long lengths of time. It hurts then, that is why I think I have the abnormal pap.
Personal history (looking at those events that shaped or most strongly affected you) I was in a domestic violence situation so I try to be careful to what I say. Don’t like to share thoughts much, because I was always mocked before.
Cravings for food - more thirsty. I like sweets, but lately, I have been passing them up. Noticed I eat more grains than anything else.
Aversions to food - just the thought of making food seems like too much work.
Level of energy and enthusiasm for various activities --- low, sometimes can’t concentrate. I haven’t noticed any pattern to it.
Environment you live in and its affect on you - sensitive to chemicals.
Childhood issues and problems, health or otherwise. Frequent sore throats when I was a child, and had to get tonsils out. Both parents had heart issues, and both gone. One brother was in Vietman and had PTSD, COPD and heart disease. He is gone as well.
Frankly, I don’t know any thing else to say. That pretty much covers it.
