Possible Fibromyalgia?

Hi,

I could greatly use some help with this. I'm a 20 y/o male and have had headaches, aching joints, back pain, anxiety, depression etc for many years.

The best way I can sum it up is.. When I wake up in the morning my back and neck are very stiff and sore, I have to stretch and pop the bones in my neck and back to help the pain. The stiffness and pain doesn't subside all day. I'm continuously stretching in all angles to loosen my muscles up and pop the bones to release pressure.
It can be a sharp pain or dull pain. Headaches are usually quite dull. Chiropractor a while back said my muscles are very tense all over.

I also have depression and anxiety due to various causes. Many issues of the past contribute to it. I worry easily. No crying, just gloomy, feeling bad mentally.

Also have an essential/intention tremor in my hands when I'm doing a fine tune task, or holding something at a specific angle. Sometimes my head has small tremors as well.

Hm I'm not sure what else you may need to know, as I'm new to this, but please I'd greatly appreciate help with it.. if anything else needs to be added please let me know. Thank you

Please provide the answer to the following questions for evaluation of your health problem:

1) Headaches:
-Do you have any Hypertension problem? What is your BP count?
-At what time of the day your headache starts? Since how long is your suffering from headache?
-Where exactly is the location of the pain?
-Did you felt nausea like or vomiting in the past because of headache?
-Do you experience any feverish symptoms during any time of the day?
-Can you breathe freely from your nose at the time of sleeping?
-Are you comfortable in Hot or cold climate?
-Do you smoke or drink?
-What is you food (breakfast-lunch-dinner) like? Do you prefer spicy, oily, salty, warm, chilled etc.
2) Aching Joints.
-when is pain at worse, ie: while walking/standing/sleeping/morning/night.?
- how does pain reacts to warm or cold applications?
- Any chronic health problem? Like heart problem/Hypertension..
- Any medication in use. Name it if yes?
- Any test done for Uric acid?
3) Back Pain.
4) Anxiety.
Elaborate on this in not more then three lines please.
5) Depression.
- How is your sleep? Do you take 9 hrs sleeps? At what time you go to bed and getup in the morning?
- Do you take or used any sleeping pills in past?
- How do you feel when you get up in the morning? Tired or active?
- Top five reasons that make you feel SAD? (Prioritise as per the one which disturbs you more should be on the top of the list and so on).
6) Etc (how many more symptoms)?
- Anything you feel like sharing?

General information:
1) Do you exercise/meditate or some physical activity?
2) Let me know your Hobby? Or what you like best to keep your self happy and occupied?
3) How many quantity of water you take for one complete day?
4) Also let me know you humour side ?
5) Brief about the type of profession you are in?

*Not that I know of, although I don't remember my last BP count.

-At what time of the day your headache starts? Since how long is your suffering from headache?

*Headache starts when I wake up in the morning and shows up later in the day, alternating between it going away and coming back.

-Where exactly is the location of the pain?

*It is usually in the back of my head, both left and right side, it can hurt in the sides of my head as well as near my forehead. Its very random with where it hurts.

-Did you felt nausea like or vomiting in the past because of headache?

*No.

-Do you experience any feverish symptoms during any time of the day?

*No, never noticed fevers

-Can you breathe freely from your nose at the time of sleeping?

*Usually I breathe fine through nose, although when I wake up in the morning I'm congested. It appears to be post nasal drip.

-Are you comfortable in Hot or cold climate?

*Cold normally

-Do you smoke or drink?

*Smoke yes. I don't drink.

-What is you food (breakfast-lunch-dinner) like? Do you prefer spicy, oily, salty, warm, chilled etc.

*I'm on a low-carb diet, so its usually meats and veggies. Warm food, spicy.

2) Aching Joints.
-when is pain at worse, ie: while walking/standing/sleeping/morning/night.?

*It normallyt hurts while I'm standing, sitting or walking. I think it is achier at night.

- how does pain reacts to warm or cold applications?

*I'm not sure. I think warmth helps

- Any chronic health problem? Like heart problem/Hypertension..

*No, I don't think so.

- Any medication in use. Name it if yes?

*Arnica, hylands backache, sometimes ignatia and aresenica, and an arnica muscle ointment.

- Any test done for Uric acid?

*No.

3) Back Pain.

*Back pain is constant. Hurts while sitting, standing, walking, everything. Back muscles feel tense and tight. Lumbar region, all the way to neck and shoulder.

4) Anxiety.

Anxiety occurs randomly. Sometimes when going to meet people, or going to an event.

5) Depression.
- How is your sleep? Do you take 9 hrs sleeps? At what time you go to bed and getup in the morning?

*I sleep well. I get 8 hrs of sleep. I go to bed at around 12 midnight and wake up at 8 a.m.

- Do you take or used any sleeping pills in past?

*No.

- How do you feel when you get up in the morning? Tired or active?

*Very tired and achey.

- Top five reasons that make you feel SAD? (Prioritise as per the one which disturbs you more should be on the top of the list and so on).

*Many childhood problems.. Its hard to think of reasons, my sadness just tends to come and go without a cause.


General information:
1) Do you exercise/meditate or some physical activity?

*I walk for exercise normally

2) Let me know your Hobby? Or what you like best to keep your self happy and occupied?

*I enjoy reading, and being around kind people. Watching documentaries as well.

3) How many quantity of water you take for one complete day?

*I usually drink tea/chai, so its probably 10 cups or so.

4) Also let me know you humour side ?

*I can be humorous, love to laugh, and make jokes. But if I'm a sad mood, I usually can't laugh easily.

5) Brief about the type of profession you are in

*College student currently

Dear psalmthirteen,

1) Take two doses of Podophyllum 200 in the morning and Night.
2) Take one dose of Ars. Alb. 200 in the afternoon.
3) Repeat 1 and 2 for three days.

Example:
Day 1 Morning : 1st dose of Podophyllum 200
Day 1 afternoon: 1 dose of Ars. Alb 200.
Day 1 Night : 2nd dose of Podophyllum 200

One dose means
The medicine is in liquid dilution form, add 3-4 drops in three sips of mineral water. mix with a spoon and sip up slowly.

Please follow homeopathy restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, and no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Do update me your progress on daily bases. Stop other medicine (if it is not an emergency).

Thank you again. Out of curiosity, what symptoms of mine do you feel matches the podophyllum remedy?

Just curious as I couldn't find a lot of information on it, and it almost looked like a digestive system remedy, but I rarely have digestive issues.

Hi Zahid,

Thanks for your response. I will look into that. Something that caught my attention is Sulphur as I have a slight slouched posture near neck/shoulder. I bad posture and heavy computer usage for many years, which may also tie into all of this.
