ARNICA HYPERICUM CANTHARIS RUTA GRAV RHUS TOX MIMOSA BELLADONNA
All these remedies have body and joint pain with skin symptoms that reflect Shingles. Hypericum is for nerve endings (and tetanus)
Look up the remedies and see which you decide to use.
If you are convinced that the Shingles were suppressed, take one dose of SILICEA. You have to consider that they may all come back, not necessarily, but might.
When I had shingles, the pain was as bad as the pain of migraine. I took all of the above in a combination for myself...Sabra | | |

Hi,
this is not homeopathy but it has worked for my mother for about a year now - L-Lysine (amino acid), 1000mg, on an empty stomach, with a little Vitamin C. (I think it can be taken with carbs but not protein).
I read about it in 'Prescription for Nutritional Healing' (Balch)
L-Lysine kills the Herpes Zoster virus.
Before, my mother would get several outbreaks a year.
It is also really important for her to avoid draughts around the head especially. the virus lives in the ear canal apparently.
Hope this helps. | This thread continues beneath the following ad.
