Hi Dr. Kempson! So Sasha woke up sniffing this morning and has been sniffing ever since. Haven`t checked yet how bad it is. Everything else seems pretty stable. She did have one more meltdown a few days ago, but it was due to being hungry and tired, I`m pretty sure. | This thread continues beneath the following ad.

Try to wait a little bit to see if she deals with it on her own.
The important thing with remedies is not to lean on them too heavily. Developing faith in a patient's strength after a remedy is necessary too. Let's see how she does. | | |

Hi, David:) Weird calling you that:) Anyway, Sasha`s left nostril just wouldn`t give up, something is up there and it makes very loud noise when she starts sniffing, especially in the morning, It has been waking her up earlier, than normal. I even tried to help her clean it out, but all i hear is slurp, something`s not coming out of there...May be she`s got a major deviation in there and I should get her an x-ray or something? But then, why did it just occur? It wasn`t like that all these years prior. Could she have a polyp? | | |

Hi David, we havent talked for a few months, things have been good with my daughter for quite some time. And I have been grateful for your help! But 2,5 months ago there were some major changes in both of our lives, we had to move. Sasha had a minor cold when we were moving, it took her about 4-5 weeks to get rid of it. since then she keeps getting cold, it just does not seem to go away completely, so the same symptoms started arising along wth new symptoms. The nose problem seems to be an issue again, she seems to have mucous stuck in her sinuses all the time, may be it has to do with her adenoids being swollen I do not know what else to suspect. She keeps sniffing a lot especially before bed as always, she also wakes up often, and is cranky and weepy all the time. Cries and gets upset easily about for no apparent reason, She also seems much more needy of me, wants attention and wants me to sleep in her bed at night. Sometimes wakes a few times a night to call me, weeping loudly, almost like a puppy... Also, when we just moved, she had a bad aggravation of her eczema, but it cleared in a couple weeks and seems under control now, although her skin is really dry all the time, on her cheeks, buttocks, things, stomach and sides of her body. Really dry heels. Like old lady heels. she wants to have snacks all the time and craves a lot of bread and cookies, and crackers, and as always, milk. She also has new symptoms which is wet cough, with a lot of flem, that gets stuck in her throat and almost makes her choke. Some mornings it even changes her voice to a sort of coarse one. I hope you`ll be able to suggest something to help her out again. I would greatly appreciate it!
P.S. I also have been having numerous problems with my health that I would love to discuss if you have time. Thanks again!

Hi there:) I gave her a new dose, so far no reaction, will wait. I wanted to ask youe advice about my situation. I had ear infection around 3 weeks ago, and was prescribed antibiotics for it, because I couldn`t get a homeopathic answer fast enough and was in pain. I caught a cold again a week ago, and now I have discomfort in my ears again, pressure and they pop all the time, nose congested, and had a terrible sore throat that fortunately went away after a few days. May be the ear infection came back? Is there something I could take to prevent that? Seems like my whole immune system is down, low energy levels, sleepiness, fatigue, neck pain, especially on sides, hair loss. Do you think you could advise something? This is what another homeopath on this site suggested the first time, but it was too late I already started on antibiotics back then.

That isn't how I practice homoeopathy, it breaks some of the basic principles. I don't know what that would do for you.
You can post your symptoms in a seperate thread and I can have a look at it. We will have to see if you need an acute remedy or it is just your chronic state aggravating.
For your daughter, assuming that nothing has essentially changed from last time, I would get hold of Aurum-t 1M before we look at moving on to a new remedy. |
