I actually feel better today, but we went swimming in a chlorinated pool today, and I think that may have antidoted my remedy. Does chlorine antidote homeopathic remedies? And if so should I repeat the dose of Calcarea Carb? Or take the dose of Lycopodium?

No need to take any remedy, just wait and watch. Your remedy is not antidoted due to swimming in chlorinated water.

Thank you. I feel somewhat stable mentally, but I am still not sleeping well at all and am very constipated. My family members noticed that I was particularly moody during the last two weeks and had been avoiding me until they confronted me about it yesterday. I really didn't know what to tell them - yes I have been having bouts of crying and frustration, but I'm not sure why and don't feel like it has been related to them. I will feel alright but then have a strong reaction to something someone says to me, usually this would only happen when I am feeling anxious or depressed, but it has been happening when I am not feeling that way. I am feeling more defensive of who I am as a person and mother, especially when it pertains to my own mother's actions and comments (who we live with).

In addition to not sleeping well, and being constipated, but face is breaking out a lot again.

Please take a single dose of Lycopodium 200 and report back after 15 days.

kadwa last decade
Thanks - may I ask why you think this would be indicated at this time?

I have Lycopodium in 30c, can I take some of that, or must I order it in 200c? It seems like I get a very strong aggravation with the previous remedies in 200c.

Please take three doses of Lycopodium 30 at a gap of 12 hours and report back after 15 days.

Ok, thank you - will do!

Hi Dr. Kadwa,
I did have a slight aggravation, but I have been feeling pretty stable mentally for the past few days, more calm and not anxious or depressed. My skin is breaking out more and I'm still a fatigued and sluggish, and somewhat little constipated. My brain still feels a bit tired, but my emotion feels pretty good - not elated good, but more steady then I would usually have in the past.

Please wait another 15 days and report back.

Starting to feel a little anxious, still very tired and getting headaches. Better than I have felt before, more stable but still anxious. I still have trouble with low energy and constipation, and also brain fog...my thinking and attention span are not so good. Please advise Dr. Kadwa, thank you!

Lethargic, sad, depressed, lonely, and homesick for the place we left over a year ago. I have still never adjusted and have wanted to go back ever since. The change of seasons are always hard on me, and I feel terribly all winter long. I can feel the fall upon us and with it I feel a sense of dread.

I wonder if I need to retake the questionairre as I am not really sure if all these remedies are helping me or not.

How is your bowel movement now?

It is ok...sometimes constipated, sometimes not. My skin is terrible though, and I have been getting headaches.

Lycopodium was the last one I took, you want me to switch back to the Calc Carb still, right?

Feel good mentally after Calc carb and took a 3 hour nap. However, every muscle and joint in my body aches and I am in a lot of pain. (This happened before). Can I take a small amount of over the counter pain reliever so that I can sleep or would this antidote?

caligirl last decade
Pain reliever won't antidote the remedy. But i think that rhus tox 30 would be a better choice.

Ok, I don't have any of that. The night was very long as I had a fever which reached 103.7 at one point!

Does the strong scent of eucalyptus antidote a remedy? My son and I are both on remedies and my mom brought home this pungent dried eucalyptus plant. :/

Let us see how you and your son react to the strong smell and let us see on the basis of your experience whether it antidotes the remedies.

It has been 18 days and I am feeling remarkably emotionally stable compared to how I usually feel. My skin is still breaking out...but this doesn't bother me too much. There is a slight possibility I might be pregnant although I won't know for sure for about a week. I am not planning on retaking the remedy right now, but is it safe to take a constitutional remedy while pregnant? Thanks Dr. Kadwa!

Also wanted to add, my period after the Calc Carb lasted 10 days, this has never happened before. It wasn't very much the last 5 days. Usually it is 4-5.

One can take her constitutional remedy during pregnancy if the remedy is indicated on the basis of symptoms.

The remedy proving, if any disappears on it's own if the remedy is not repeated unnecessarily.

In the case of calc carb 200 we can't say with confidence whether it was a remedy proving or it was a part of curative process instituted by the remedies.

Ok Dr. Kadwa, I think I need to redose or something. I have major PMS (or what I assume to be that, since I am not sure if I am pregnant still)...water retention all over and bloating in abdomen...majorly stressed out about a birthday party I am supposed to take my autistic son to...everytime we have any social demands with him it turns into a disaster and is embarassing and not very fun for us. I have been complaining and yelling at my husband all day...a couple times I felt so angry I broke into a cold sweat and needed to sit down. I also feel extremely unattractive and don't want anyone to look at me. I have been ridiculously hungry and just wanted to eat a lot. I feel like I have gained a bit of weight. Also constipated. Please help me.

Hi Dr. Kadwa, I was feeling pretty awful and I ended up taking a dose of Sepia 200c (after using the Remedy Finder) before hearing back. I don't feel as angry but kind of tossed and turned last night and have a headache. Should I still take the Lyco 30c? Will that automatically cancel out the Sepia or do I need to antidote that first? Thanks!
