hi
I live in UK, my 6 year old son has got chicken pox,and i am breastfeeding my 2 year old son also.
I am not sure if i am immune or not to chicken pox, so i searched your forum and found out about rhus toxx 200c, and i bought that and ate 3 doses of that (in small tablts round ones) doc said that 3 would be fine and my 2 yaer old will get it from milk...my question is, do i have to take it again, when my other son or some one else gets it, can i take it next week just to be very sure?
or these 3 doses were enough and will prevent me having chicekn pox. thanx |

Rhus-tox is one of several medicines that might be indicated for prophylaxis for chicken pox. The specific remedy would depend on the way those around you are showing the symptoms of the disease.
If you are using a remedy this way, only use it when you are in danger of contracting the illness (so when it is around).
For children, chicken pox is a necessary part of the process of maturation of their immune systems. You don't want your youngest to not get it, but you do want them to get it in the mildest form possible.
If someone has trouble with chicken pox we have many good medicines to help them deal with it. These medicines work best when selected on the basis of the symptoms being displayed by the patient (which is not the same for everyone). | | |
