10 months daughter not sleeping enough

Hi All

My 10 months old daughter sleeps too less. She sleeps around 6-7 hours while I think children of her age sleep 10-12 hours. Also she is awakened by just a small bell sound or some little noise.

In night she sleeps around 12 AM and awakens at 7 AM. These 7 hours she doesn't sleep smooth enough and awakens at least 4-5 times every 2-3 hrs.

In day she sleeps for max 15 mins or 1/2 an hr and awakes and then starts weeping.

She has just got teething troubles so I m giving her biochemic combianation no 21 .

Could you please suggest a remedy for her so that she can sleep smoothly for at least 8-10 hours.

Thanks
EA

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It is not uncommon with some kids. Give the following medicine for 3 days only and then stop. You will start noticing the difference from day1 and in a week to 10 days you will see her sleeping much better.

Bellis Per 30, in wet dose, in the night, may be around 9pm - 1 dose. Repeat once in a night for 3 days only.

If you find her starting during sleep, write back.

For definition of wetdose, please see my Profile.

Thanks Reva

I read in Materia Medica by WILLIAM BOERICKE and it tells abt BELLIS PERENNIS

Sleep --Wakes early in morning and cannot get to sleep again

I am little confused with above as one symptom is matching (Wakes early in morning) but another line is not matching

Please clarify .

I could see your concern as a parent. I am giving few lines to help:

- Homeopathy is not just about symptom matching. Boericke is a great saint and his works are solid reference.

- The interpretation of wakes early in the morning is 'could not sleep long enough'. This interpretation to use it as a leader for sleep is repeatedly verified in clinical practice and documented by many open minded sincere leaders in this field.

- Start with Plant Origin, then choose minerals, metals and eventually nosodes is the guidelines by leaders. I learned in the hard way to stick to this plan close. Bellis is daisy plant.

- Infants should be tried first with healing plants. Bellis is a healer.

- Accidental overdose of the selected remedy should not cause any discomfort. In addition Infants cannot tolerate any homeopathic aggravation. Hence eliminate any remedy with history of aggravation.

I have given few that may possibly help to ease you. The real cure comes from your prayer and His grace. We have no role here, other than being sincere and honest in what we do.
