Eczema in Toddler

Hi,

I am basically coming here to find out possible cause and treatment for eczema in my 2 year old son.
It started after our India trip, when he was 15 months. I noticed it when he was 18 months with the dr. diagnosing his rash a eczema. She gave a steroidal cream. I finally went to a homeopath because I didn't want to use steroids on my son.

Anyway after a brief questioning and answer, she concluded that the eczema is caused by worms, and has given me treatment for that. The first course of treatment didn't work, so after following up the homeopath has given me a stronger dose.

My questionss are, first, is there a way to confirm that my son has worms, so that he is treated accordingly?
Second, what treatment can I give him to help him heal, the treatments that are given are quite small and the charge is a hefty amount. If its something I have already or can order, I would like to go that route.

Finally, could this be something else? What shall I try or do?

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Homeopathy is deffinitely the best/only cure for excema. It can also cure worms too!

Please find the new patient intake form and present the complete case.

My toddler is definitely moody, especially in a sleepy state. He only wants his mother when sleepy or sleeping, and will wake up crying if mother is away. When awake, he is friendly and is fine without the mother if father is around.

From the time it was diagnosed as eczema, July, when he was 18 months to now, 2 years, it has spread and grown and has also appeared on the legs, which wasn't the case initially. Some days it looks like it's going away, and other days its bright red and looks quite bad.

Oh I saw someone asking these questions in another forum with similar cases, so am mentioning, maybe it might be helpful.

He loves music and dance ( How strong a liking ? improves him mood ? what is the level of rhythm he possesses?)

He enjoys watching children's shows and listening to music. He likes to dance, and loves to participate when singing children's songs.
Can be very jealous when picking up other children and will cry until he can get mom back.
He has a sweet tooth and prefers to eat sweet over salty. I don't give him too much junk food, but he does get treated and he can eat sweets without me forcing, unlike salty foods, which he takes in less amount and only when he is really hungry. He like yogurt, milk, cheese and bananas and also eats brown rice and oatmeal if I have banana mashed into it.
-Happy to travel. ( Strong desire for travel ? ) He likes to travel and flies very well.
- Any fears ? Talk more about his temperament...
He has a temperament and has started to hit, bite and pinch. Sometimes he does it more when gets super excited.

He does not like his hair being combed or fondled with too much.

Im not sure, what makes it worse. I am guessing it's more red and irritated when dry and when he scratches it all night. Applying virgin coconut oil really seems to help as long as it's not rubbed off.

It started with a small patch on his one hand, now it has a really big one outer area above his right elbow and another smaller circular rash on his forehand. He has similar on the left hand above is outer elbow area, but is healing. His right hand one, looks better but then looks really bad again and is the worst looking of all. It's scaly inflamed looking dry skin, looks like a rash, with some scabs due to scratching.

He also has a dry skin patch that came later, behind his left knee, and a few small scattered patches here and there, all on the limbs.

Any diseases running in the family?

Can someone please respond, his treatment has finished and I need to continue since his eczema seems to be getting worse. What should I treat him for and with which meds?

The only disease I can think of is from his father's side, which is heart disease and diabetes.

Hi

Please give a single wet dose of Kreosotum 30c.

Please put 2 pills/drops of the remedy in 100 ml of spring water, shake it gently and give one teaspoon from the solution as the dose. Throw away the remaining solution.

Please let us know of the changes 7 days from taking the remedy.

Regards,
Niel
