My 3 year child having UC for last 3 months . He is continuously on steroids since then but as soon as steroids are stopped symptoms return back. After consulting homeopath he advised Merc sol 30 & Alloe every 2 hourly each & to stop steroids. First 2 days improvements were seen but next 3 days symptoms started to aggravate.

Can somebody help by replying to my following queries
1) How long it takes to get rid of complete symptoms?
2) Medicines to be continued even if symptoms aggravates or medicines to be changed ?
3) Can UC can be completely cured by Homeopathy ?
4) If yes then how long it takes?
5) Homeopathy medicines can be stopped completely once symptoms are disappeared ?

if the condition aggravates you should get in touch with your homeopath who will be able to check out whether it is the remedies or other, i.e. stopping the steroids or foods/environment. Homeopath will then advise you further on dosage and remedies.
Children heal really well with homeopathy. Impossible to say how long it will take and whether total cure will take place - this is absolutely totally individual and depends on the energy of the patient. The remedies do not heal they activate the body to heal itself and the body can only do whatever it can do...this is why children generally heal better.
If there are other chronic illnesses involved then the case of healing may be longer and more complicated.
In any case you will see an improvment in health - and that is worth going for!!! :)

This sort of problem is too deep for the remedies you mention, to do more than palliate.
It needs miasmic/constitutional remedies.
It is related to hereditary condition, but this does not mean that others in the family have suffered from this particular problem.

How does he sleep -- well ?.
Does he eat little and often , and have a down period in the late afternnon ?.

Does his pillow or clothes smell a bit sour?.

1)Yes , he sleeps well in night (9-10 hrs in night & 2 hrs in the afternoon).
2)Yes , he eat little and often , and have a down period around 4 PM

3) He is sweeting too much in the head .

What would miasmic/constitutional remedies mean for him .

In view of what you say he will almost certainly benefit from Lycopodium 10m .

Give a dose last thing at night, for three nights. Wait and see the result. It may be that as he has been on steroids it will need either prolonged or higher potency .

But lets see where he goes from here .

Do not use any other medication , and keep away from camphor, eucalyptus etc as pungent smells also neutralise homeopathic remedies.
