Please help...9 year old son

Please could someone help me, I am going out of my mind.

My 9 year old son is driving me around the bend.

He is always arguing, can't amuse or entertain himself, has muscle twitches, which vary to different parts of the body, is very jealous of his older sister and everything she has, thinks he is left out even though he is not, angers very easily especially when he is told he can't have/do something, hears what people are saying to him but chooses to ignore, he is very active, and generally uncoperative, makes things harder that they have to be just for the sake of it.

He prefers to have cold drinks and likes meat.

He sweats in bed, but no so much during the day.

he is also scared of the dark and of being alone.

He is good when he wakes up, and gets progressively worse throughout the day.

The behaviour is causing friction, he acknowledges it but does nothing to help himself and it is very frustrating.

I would like for someone to help and suggest something that may help before I go completely out of my mind.

I thank you in advance for your gratefully received advice.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
sorry, I forgot to mention that he has to always be the centre of attention, and that he frequently interupts conversations to have his say, often unrelated to the conversation.

He will interupt and say something completely silly, no matter who I am talking to.

Thanks

Please give him Stramonium 200c thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours for only one day (not daily) and see how that affects him in the next 15 days.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

To kadwa,

thank you, I have ordered the Stramonium and will advise after 15 days.

One question, I am unable to give him 3 doses 4 hours apart as he is at school during the day.
I can do the morning and evening, so what should I do?

Thanks I appreciate your guidance.

1> Are there no behavioural problems at school at all considering that he does behave well at home.

He appears to behave well at school, however he does not behave well at his after school activities such as sports etc.

2> How is his sleep

He sleeps well, once he goes to sleep. He has trouble getting to sleep initially but after that sleeps through until morning.

3> Any digestive issues

He has no digestive issues, but he has a very healthy appetite and eats well. He also drinks alot of water, but it has to be cold from the fridge.

thanks for taking the time to assist me.

Thank you,
he is egotisical, but behavaviour does not improve if he is appreciated. If anything, he feeds off of the attention and gets worse.

Having said that, he is not like it all the time. He can be a very gentle and sensitive little boy that is a joy to be around.

Thank you Dr Kadwa.
I will give the doese over 3 days as you have said, and report back 15 days later. Hopefulle Stramonium will arrive today or tomorrow.

1>'Having said that, he is not like it all the time. He can be a very gentle and sensitive little boy that is a joy to be around.'

Please shed more light on this aspect of his personality.

2>How socialable is he with say people other than his family

vikas_grower last decade
Thank you.

He is a strange little fellow. Whilst he is getting to know someone he is good and behaves well. Once he feels he knows the person/people he starts to behave the same way as he does at home and with other family members.

So, I guess he is quiet until he feels he knows the person and then the real him comes out.

You answered the second question .

Please also the first question in the

Sorry, the first question

He can be gentle and sensitive, until things don't go his way. That is when the anger and vilence kicks in, not just normal childhood anger either. he gets verbally nasty and strikes out.

On the other side of the coin, he can be palyong with his friends and then do something completely silly and ruin the whole atmosphere for all concerned.

He also does not know when it is time to stop. He will carry on this behaviour quite happily, even when others have asked him to stop. Almost like it is a joke. He does not seem bothered that others don't find it amusing.
He says he does not care.

Thanks

Well as you have ordered Stramonium , you can try that .

His intolerance to directions and defiant behaviour points to remedies like Lycopodium / Mercuris Solubilis .

But first lets see the response to Stramonium.

vikas_grower last decade
i appreciate your reply.

I will give the Stramnium a go and if that is not effective then perhaps you could give me your thoughts. Again, I really appreciate your guidance.

Please kind sirs,
It has been 10 days since I gave my son the three doses of Stramonium, and his behaviour has not improved one little bit. If anything, he has got worse.
I has to constantly challenge everything that is said and had a contradictory answer.
He is refusing to be co-operative and is ignoring when spoken to.
It is getting to the point where I want to severely shake him.
Your responses are gratefully appreciated.
Thank you very much for your kind help.
I await your remedy.

Lets try Lycopodium 30 c .

The dosage is as follows

Please get Lycopodium 30 c in liquid or pellets form .

The dosing proceedure is as follows .

Pour 2 drops of liquid of Lycopodium 30 c in a 250 ml spring water bottle.

Alternatively put 2 pellets of Lycopodium 30 c in a 250 ml spring water bottle and allow it to dissolve on its own which will take some time .
.
Once u pour the drops in the bottle/pellets have dissolved , shake the spring water bottle very gently to allow uniform mixing .

Take a capful from this bottle .This makes one dose.

Wait for 30 minutes .

Take another capful . This makes second dose .

Wait for 30 minutes

Take another capful . This makes third dose

Thats it .

No repetition of the medicine .

We now wait and watch her behaviour for 15 days .

Please note that the medicine is not be repeated in these 15 days .

Restrictions:
1/. Nothing should enter the mouth for 40 minutes prior to, or after taking the remedy.
2/. Do not touch the tablets with your hands ( not applicable as u have medicine in liquid form ) , tip them into the cap of the container they came in and then into the water .
3/. Avoid coffee, tea (including green), and other sources of caffeine such as some fizzy drinks and large amounts of chocolate.
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT .
4/. Avoid wearing perfume/aftershave, or exposure to anything with a strong smell while under treatment. This includes any and all essential oils, and incense.
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT .
5/. Avoid the consumption of excessively spicey foods
6/. The use of medicinal herbs, either as 'teas' or supplements should be avoided during Homoeopathic treatment, as should the use of over the counter medication, unless this has been recommended by an MD.
7/. Nothing of a medicinal nature should be applied to the skin

Please also remember as explained that the 3 doses has to be taken once .
No homeopathic medicine should be repeated until the reaction to the initial dose is observed.

Well if the remedy selected is ok then the first sign of improvement will noticed in the first few days , otherwise no effect will be observed .

In case of any confusion please ask.

Thank you. I will get Lycopodium today and report back in 15 days. Hopefully this will be the answer.

Hoping to see results.

Thank you for your suggestion of Lycopodium. It has been one week and I have to say that things are far worse. He is more arrogant than ever and is now getting into trouble at school. He has also begun being destructive of property, not only his own. Please I appreciate any suggestions you may have, I just don't know what to do.
Thank you and I await your instructions.

i don't think that lyc 30 could lead to such an aggravation. If there is no improvement in his behaviour you may give him a single dose of Chamomilla 30 and see whether it helps.

kadwa last decade
I will get Chamomilla 30. What does a singel dose consist of. I am pretty sure I can only get it in tablet form, so can you please adivse. Thank you.
I am not sure of the Lycopodium caused the aggravation, or whether it is a compounding part of his behaviour.
