The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Hello,I decided to start a new thread as I had trouble finding the old.my baby has been doing well with the Nat Phos 6x you prescribed. She still spits up though, but the amount is greatly reduced.I hav been administering it now for about 3 weeks 3 times a day.in the last few days I have noticed her becoming somewhat fussy at the breast, and she has been moving her head a lot, latching and unlatching.she has been fighting sleep a lot.fussing when she is plainly tired and getting up several times a night wanting to eat ,then not wanting to go back to sleep.she will constantly move her arms and legs.and will sometimes only sleep an 1:30 -2hrs before waking up again.previously she was sleeping very well ,and only waking about twice nightly.I amwondering what is wrong.she constantly is sneezing and has what sounds like congestion in her nose, waking up from sleep with crustys in her nose.this has been happening since birth,as the sneezing I remember noticing in the hospital?the crusties have just appeared in the last couple weeks.also her hands and feet tend to commonly stay chilly though her head tends to be hotter.she does not like the wind I noticed and she seems to hold her breath and squints.what is your opinion?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I would like to know how precisely you give her the NP and how much of the tablet you give her and how many times daily.

Reduce the dosage to half tablet after a feed and observe if she sleeps any better.

Squinting is quite normal with infants but if you are concerned about her holding her breath you will have to consult your pediatrician.

Is she gaining weight according to schedule?

She had her 2month checkup and had gained around a pound.going from 8lbs to 9lbs.she weighed 6lb 7oz at birth, and lost down to 6lb 4oz.she gained les this time than at her one month but I felt that was partly due to her reflux as she was spitting up quite often and large amounts.the doctor said he'd liked to have seen her gain a little more, but over all she seemed healthy and happy.I will follow your advice and see how this works. Also what do you think would cause her hands and feet to stay cold all the time?even when I dress her warm they seem cool.and what about her sneezing?this has puzzled me since she was born, since she practically came out sneezing a lot.also when she sneezes it is a very wet sneeze.

As long as she is gaining weight all is well.

I cannot account and prescribe for her cold hands and feet and her sneezing as I would not like to give her the standard remedy for sneezing which I give adults.

You can ask her pediatrician for advice but do not give her any drugs without consulting me.
