ringworm on leg

I have a patch of ringworm on my leg (caught from my daughter, a veterinarian) and have had it for over six months. I have tried every over the counter preparation I can find but can't get rid of it nor can i find what homeopathic remedy would work, although I am thinking of trying silica. Any ideas. it is quite unsightly and i am not prepared to take anything internally unless it is homeopathic.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
For all fungal infections, low potency sulphur and Phosphorus-6c for long time (two months)

bacillinum is also very good for treating ringworm - here the vets give it to cattle in their water to treat this. 30c of this remedy.

Go along with erika on this one - but use at least 10m potency in a single dose .

- never used it in 10m for this - thanks passkey, I'll give it a try! Must admit the bacc. 30c takes ages and does not seem to prevent recurrence (in humans that is, altho the cows seem fine on it!).

well I'm glad I've opened up a debate and as I think it originated from cattle the bacc. Sounds promising, but I'm a bit wary of taking 10m. Anything else that might work - it has already recurred twice and the spread is worse each time!

No need to be wary of the 10m - is there a reason you are wary of this? maybe we can reassure you...:)

thanks erika. Only wary because I'm scared it might get even worse before it gets better or trigger something else off!

PS - just found out that abc in UK doesn't have it on their list!

you can get it from Helios pharmacy, UK
The potency should not aggravate with such a clear causation.
if you are wary of the 10m try the 30c first.

thanks for all your time and trouble, erika, will give it a go.

Thank you. Bacillinum is what was givin to 3 of my kids for inpantigo. I believe my other son has recently developed ringworm on his leg. I've done some research and looked at some pics. I've been putting that cream along w/another and I think I may be starting to see improvement. I really don't want to have to take him to the doctor for this. Thanks for the info everyone.

I note that are using a cream on the legs of your children and are interested to learn what this cream is.

I have used Bacillinum 30c in the liquid dose for Ringworm successfully when other medication has failed but it took about 3 months before all traces of the infection were overcome.

You may like to know that the higher potency of Bacillinum 200c is a very effective remedy for Catarrh and also helps to build up resistance to colds and coughs. Dose is 4 globules taken and repeated after an interval of 2 weeks apart.
