This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Homeopathic remedies are indeed useful after cuts, nutritional deficiencies and as you mention with fruiting/flowering which is similar to puberty/harmonal problems in other organisms.

I think the difference in diagnosis for diseases makes the choice process little different, since plants dont have nervous system, how the approach changes?this will also be the subject of discussion.since plant can display but if nothing is displayed but plant is not fruiting what to give?
regards

The schema for plants would have various components like:

Capillary, Roots, Stems and bark, Leaves, Flowers, Fruit, Seed, Modalities(Better from, worse with), Vulnerability to pests(starting from leafroller to cats/rabbits), causation(some examples are: Fungus, salination, waterlogging etc), Appearance(some examples are: Epidermis, Deformed, Discolouration etc) etc. just like we have Mind, head, face to skin in human schema of materia medica.

We can't be so sure that plants would not have nervous system or brain. Some recent studies are suggesting the contrary.

If fruits are absent in a plant then following remedies are indicated:

Calc. carb, carbo. veg, ferrum met., Ferrum Sulph., Magnesia carb., nat. carb.

As usual more symptoms, a better indicated remedy so with a symptom profile that covers the plant as an individual organism would give us a better indicated remedy.

ya!this is some studied statement i appreciate.
I read some where viburnum opulus to be given if fruits fall before ripening,we all know that this remedy is for that purpose, but if the flowering stage is attacked by fungus which turn it in to a cluster of brown mass and then no fruiting this cluster looks like small child's head. This disease is common in mango tree can we think some remedy.

I think what you're referring to is malformation of florets after powdery mildew fungus.

For this fungus, you shall try Equisetum 6x or 6c or 30c or 200c. If 6x then 5 pills or drops and for other potencies 3 pills or drops in 1 litre water can and spray the medicinal water all over the plant as far as you can reach covering the flowers, leaves, stem, root and a little bit of soil sorrounding the plant. Observe for 3 months before repeating the dose.

(If you're going to use the same water can for other remedies, before usage, you must clean it well using hot boiling water)

If equisetum does not help or give partial result, then silicea may be tried in similar fashion.

THANX,but htis is not mildew,in mildew powder is seen on the plants, here it is called 'GUCHHA BEEMARI' in HINDI thry also cal it 'MATHA BAN JATA HAI'.

bapu4 last decade
have you tried these remedies?

bapu4 last decade
ALSO one doubt, the mango is poison ivy group plant (anacrdeace family) can the Rhus tox prevent damage to florets which takes place during cloudy days that often come during flowering?
2.Potassium nitrate is said to induce fruiting in a non fruiting by spraying it.can kali nitrite 30 or 200 do the same job ?

Herring wrote about this from the perspective of making remedies from weeds and parasites.

Yes the advice has worked in my experience for powdery mildew.

Most of the fungi respond to silicea. so you may want to try and see silicea.

About your doubt 1) I don't think so.

doubt 2) it won't be successful i think. On the contrary kali mur. has been useful for mouldy flowers.

maheeru,
can you tell me good book to refer for plants?

bapu4 last decade
Dear Bapu

Not a lot of books have been written on this subject. This area is quite new with research being going on from later part of 80's. One book I know of is:

Homeopathy for Farm and Garden:by Vaikunthanath, D. K.

Otherwise Boenninghausen and Boger's synoptic key are useful for symptoms and rubrics for plants.

Dear Maheeru,
I know about farms and gardens the book is very costly,i will try to get hands on boger's.

Any recommendations for cactus that has white looking fungus growing all over it?

Homeopathy International 1 last decade
Jewish Homeopath,
This cactus if in pot, needs first a serving of manure(bio, not chemical),the fungus is necessary to degrade bio-mass in soil,it comes to tree/plant when it does'nt get it in the soil.

bapu4 last decade
If it is not in a pot even then give it a good qty of manure if the fungus doesnt go give it a dose of sambucus nigra 6x 2 drops/2 pills in water in the roots, also you can spray the same on the plant simultaneously. pl. give a feed back.

For Jewish Homeopath, i'd hazard a repetition. Equisetum followed by silcea for the fungus on cactus.

Bapu

Boger's and Boenninghausen have simple and plain rubrics what we call General symptoms in homeopathy. They don't carry direct plant rubrics so we need to fit them for plants.

Bapu, for you and for those who may be looking for some help with plants, i have a couple of online resources. By no means they are exhaustive but are useful any way because they focus exclusively on plants.

http colan //www dot considera.org/hrxmatmed dot html

http colan //www.considera dot org/hrxrep dot html?page=view&PHPSESSID=1a68c0e20ce5bfac3044d8254eb8632c

(replace colan and dot with : and .)

The current repertory agricultura has following rubrics with following remedies.

Under named diseases:

Mould: General: Valerian, sulphur, silicea, Equisetum, Ferrum sulphuricum, kali muriaticum, natrum salicyclicum(bold), salicyclicum acidum(italicised).

Under Flowers

Mouldy: Kali Muriaticum

Hope that helps :)

The fungus on the cactus is on many cactus plants within a 2 mile area. Most are 8 feet wide or longer, and it includes several different types of cactus. Most are over 5 yeas old. The white fungus seems to affect most cactus in the area.

Homeopathy International 1 last decade
In that case,sambucus+silecea12x has to be mixed and sprayed,it will be a big task employing few people.

bapu4 last decade
I tried SIL. on a few cactus yesterday as a test.

Homeopathy International 1 last decade
Jewish Homeopath

If almost all of the cacti including several types, then it could be due to many factors in play.

It could be anything like some trait which may not be a disease symptom, or a spread of infection in the area, or could be some deficiency in soil.

Sil. was worth a try. Hope things improve :)

maheeru last decade
I put the SIL. on two very large cacti that were unlike the others. They had a grey looking fungus-type disease eating at them.

Today when I went back, one had a splotch of the white fungus that in on the others in the area.

I will continue to observe that over time.
