Forgot to mention that I added about a teaspoon of blackberry brandy to the Pearl Powder yesterday when I topped off the jar again with more water. Second dilution.

I was out and about most of yesterday. Thus, I was only able to take a morning dose and evening dose before bed. Wednesday night, (3/23) I took my weekly dose of Belladonna using a potency of 30x (my 6C is still not here after ordering it last week) and using the Split Method described by Joe and re-created by Dr. Luc. It's so hard to differiniate between the Belladonna starting to kick in after the initial sense of feeling totally drugged and with a sharp headache. Since I never get headaches nor do I feel drugged, I knew the Belladonna was doing its thing. (By the way, I was not aware that those specific effects were indicative of Belladonna working until after I experienced them.) I must say that I am having greater difficulty getting up in the morning, especially this morning. It's more a mental effort than a physical one. My adrenal glands tested low last month and I'm taking Isocort (a natural adrenal supplement) and using the lowest dose of 7-Keto DHEA, two or three times a week to supply my body with just a bit of DHEA.

I have happily noticed that the 7-Keto and Isocort are working together to reduce belly fat that accumulated over the last 8 years or more. My ND said that I should notice this effect and it would alert me that the 7-Keto and Isocort are working. I am NOT one of these people who wants to be chained to a supplement the rest of my life, trust me. That's why the use of homeopathy effecting the permanent change of my acquired mental state and how it relates to my physical body is so welcoming to me.

I'm afraid the Nat. Phos6X that Joe talks about is not going to be effective for me since I'm taking 7-Keto and Isocort. Still, I may try it simply to see if I can perceive any effect. If it helps digestion, even in the slightest, I'd be happy.

So, to wind it up. I'm continuing today with the Pearl dilution and will do so at my usual 4 teaspoons a day. Once again, not a lot of emotional spikes of anger at all. As soon as they feel like emerging, it's as if my mind "corrects" that format and removes the need for reacting in that way.

It's interesting in that I have been reacting with that knee-jerk tendency for more than 40 years (I was known to throw vicious temper tantrums when I was a toddler and up to 6 years old whenever I became frustrated or my blood sugar was low). To suddenly reconfigure my reaction pattern after all these years AND have my MIND doing it (the same part of myself that seemed to convince me to act out before), is fascinating to watch.

Onward and upward.

Hello,

I was going to go to Dragon Herbs today to purchase some Pearl Powder... I was wondering how exactly you diluted the capsules?? Did you dump out the powder and put it in water? How much water? How many capsules? How much did you take? I would be happy to e-mail and share my findings with you... Thanks..

Dear PasRenee,

I'm glad someone else is willing to do this.

The first batch I made, I opened 30 capsules, poured them in the bottle and added 1 liter of filtered water. I then added four teaspoons of brandy to preserve it (even though I kept it in the fridge.) I took one teaspoon, four times a day. Once the first batch got down to half way (I marked with a piece of masking tape where a pint of water would be), I added more water to fill it up to one liter again. Each time before I took a dose, I shook the bottle vigorously one or two times. (In the beginning, as I mentioned in my drawn out info package on page 1 of this thread, I shook the pearl powder until it completely disappeared.)

Okay, so that was batch one and then batch two (after I added the extra water.)

I then intuitively felt that I was not getting what I needed from this remedy. So, when I finished the entire amount, I made a NEW batch. This time I only added ONE capsule (each capsule is 500 mg.) I shook the pearl powder until it dissolved completely in the liter of water. (By the way, you must use a glass container, not plastic.) I added my four teaspoons of brandy for preserve and kept it in the fridge. I took the same dose daily. Well, while the emotional elements of the remedy seemed to be apparent, the physical elements really kicked into gear. Three things happened.

1. A rash I had been dealing with for almost two months that appeared and semi-disappeared around my mouth and then reappeared again REALLY came back with a vengeance when I started the batch with only one capsule dissolved in the water. Then the rash dried up and came back and did nothing.

2. The texture of my skin around my eyes seems to have gotten more refined and taut.

3. This one really impressed me. I had an ingrown hair on my inner thigh. It was no big deal. But then one morning I awoke to find an engorged pimple the size of a large BB right there. I popped it and out flowed a hard sliver of yellow pus, lots of thin blood and the corkscrew hair that was ingrown. What's interesting is that I know it grew to that size while I slept because I would have seen it the night before. The ONLY thing I can attribute this to is the pearl powder. I have never experienced anything like that before or since.

Regarding the rash, again, I intuitively felt it was time to stop taking the pearl powder. I was almost done with the first liter that I made with the single capsule. Within days of stopping the powder, my rash started to go away and is now 95% gone. The skin where the rash was is very soft and renewed.

Please post on the forum on this thread and tell us/me what happens for you when you do the pearl powder. Glad you are close enough to Dragon Herbs in L.A. to get the stuff.

Anybody else out there, please only buy HYDROLYZED PEARL POWDER (that is what Dragon Herbs sells.) There is a lot of adulteration of pearl powder and you must purchase from a reputable source.

1) how do your differentiate low and high grade of pearl powder? I did quite
a bit of research on it but still can't get an answer.

2) What do you mean by hydrolysed pearl powder? Is it nanotechnology?

3) By the way thought that pearl powder contain calcium carbonate? in this
case why is it still soluble in water?

Pearl powder know as Zhen Zhu (Jen Ju) in Pin yin is, as pointed out, a very potent 'Shen Tonic' in TCM. In fact it is considered one of the most powerful of all, and is traditionally used for quite severe mental/emotional problems, particularly where there is a tendency toward emotional outbursts, or to be frightened easily.
I have corroborated all of the above by potentizing and proving the remedy many years ago, a full proving of which will be in my forthcoming book.
I have no notion (or interest for that matter) of esoteric beliefs such as 'chakras' etc, but scientifically and phamacologically speaking, and like most Shen tonics, it is a nervous system sedative, and is actually a very strong sedative indeed, and will therefore intefere with the proper reaction of remedies when given in material dose.

It should also be noted that only proper potentization creates a Homoeopathic remedy, and will increase the curative power of a physical substance, and any other preparation is merely a varying dose of the material substance. It is also, even in potency, a very shallow acting remedy indeed, with no deep acting virtues at all.
