Question about Remedy

One of my patient has taken remedy as per following specification and get good result.

selenium 30
alcohol vol. % 90
10 ml dilution

dr. william schwabe karlsruhe
made in germany

But I am confused, how 30C potency remedy can alcohol volume 90%. If alcohol volume is 90%, generally it means 1X.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

Basically the medicine is made in 90% alcohol and 10% water. In think, the strongest alcohol used in making homeopathic medicine in 95%.

Don't get confused that it is 10% medicine and 90% alcohol. It is 100% medicine.

That means, vehicle is 90% alchohol and 10% water? And medicine is diluted as per potency rule?

Combination medicines are different story. It could be like:

10 ml contains

1 ml of medicine1-12C
1.5 ml of medicine2-6X
1 ml of medicine3-4x

rest 7 ml could be alcohol+water 45% alcohol
