I have chronic crackling in the back of neck on right side only. This crackling extends to 3-4 inches towards right scapula.
It makes upper right scapula near spine and right jaw very much painful.
I have some skin symptoms along this. Psoriasis on knuckle of thumb in right hand and scaling of right side of right heel.
Sometimes I get vesicles in right heel and sometimes between third tow and fourth two in right leg.
There is no aggravation or amelioration except slight sensitivity to cold draft in neck.
At some point of time Nat Carb 200 and Carbo Veg 1000 were life saver for respiratory problems (25 yr ago). Recently I had respiratory problems - Ars 30, Histaminum 30 and Kali Phos 6x has been life savers. What I mean by life saver means traditional system of medicine failed totally failed in providing recovery/improvement. I am in US, under Kaiser medical coverage and received best care possible in the world - so I have to make my own survival effort.
I may be of hydrogenoid constitution, because Nat Carb, Carbo Veg, Alumen, Arnica, Pulsatilla and Arsenic with Nux have been helping.
To some extent Nat Phos, Calc Phos, Kali Phos, Kali Sulph and Hekla Lava have been helping.
Lyc, Chel, Carb Sulp (ringing in ears and color difficulty for red/green), Phos (now liver is in first stage of fatty liver) do come closer but not of much help. R7 and R11 help little bit but aggravates (perhaps that is not homeopathic aggravation, that is constitutional conflict)

For respiratory problems, I have been tested for all sorts of allergies around me, food I eat, dust, pollen, mite, etc. I am little sensitive to following, but in specialists opinion, that won't cause that much problem:
- Alternaria Alternata
- Asperallgus Fumagirus
- Penicillium Notatum
They belong MOLD class.
Allopathy desensitization may take years and so I took homeopathic allergens through homeopathic combinations - not of any help. | | |

I have received treatments from few best homeopathic doctors in India. They have tried various anti-psoric and nosodose.
Their medicine could help, perhaps because I am not in framework of Psora, Sycosis and Syphilis. I might be better in framework of VON GRAUVOGL constitution: Hydrogenoid, oxygenoid and carbo-nitrogenoids. | | |

You may try Calcarea Carb 200c 3 doses at a gap of 4 hours for one day (not daily, only one day) and see how it affects you in the next 15 days. | This thread continues beneath the following ad.

Hello Dr. Kadwa,
Thanks for recommending Calc Carb. I took it as suggested.
I have been physically like Calc Carb (obesity in abdomen), etc. and so couple of times it was prescribed in past without favorable response. Hope this time it helps me.
Since I took Calc Carb, I would have doubt, whether Hep Sul was more prefered over it. For the last one year, I have pain while sitting - in buttock/nates muscle (more left side). Does this symptom it make more closer to Heper Sulf or still continuing with Calc Carb is OK?

These symptoms may respond to Rhus Tox 200. You may take it after 15 days if calc carb 200 doesn't help. But wait for 15 days. | | |

Hello Dr Kadwa,
Calc did no help. I am taking Rhus Tox today as per your suggestion. Also let me explain symptoms again with the help of images.
In mid nineteens, there was actual bone loss in right back part of C3-C5. Now it shows no bone loss but only bone spur in that region (C4-C7). Whether bone loss or bone spur, the symptoms from homeopathic point of view, never changed.
I am attaching a picture describing the pain:
1. Crackling in right of neck and joints of upper thoracic parts
1.1 The thoracic part happens with desire to bend back as well as desire to stoop in front. Bending back cracks right of sternum also.
1.2 The neck happens to move neck left or side wise
2. Stiffness and pain of muscle between right scapula and edge of spine (closest i find Sul, Alumen and Juglance cineria)
3. Neuralgic pain in right jaw and base of molar teeth (closest, I find Hekla).

i think that the following tissue salts may help you-
calc phos 6x
calc flour 6x
silcea 6x
mag phos 6x
You may take 2 pellets each of
calc phos 6x
calc flour 6x
mag phos 6x
thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours for 15 days and see how that affects.
Please don't take these salts on the day you take a homeo remedy.
The other remedy that you should explore for future use is Causticum.

I can comfortably start using the following. They have been helping in any way:
~ Calc Phos 6x
~ Calc Flour 6x
~ Mag Phos 6X
Here are some past inputs. However if you feel about Silicea or Causticum, I won't hesitate using again. You are looking my case, I'll sincerely and honestly follow judgment and advice.
About Silica:
Silicea (Silica) has been used in past couple of times in potencies 10M and 1M and 200 and 6x. Each of them after some time cause sharp pain in left chest at times to the extent that I would die - and no subsequent improvement.
About Causticum:
It causes unpleasant stiffness in different muscles with not subsequent improvement. As I remember, this was tried in 10M, 1M and 200.
But again I assure you, if you feel that I should take any of them, I won't hesitate to repeat again.

Sorry, I could not manage handle Rhus Tox. I planned taking Rhus Tox 30 for first day then moving to 200.
Rhus Tox 30 antidoted Ars Alb. I was dependent on Ars Alb 6 and Kali Phos 6x, on which I am dependent, otherwise can't sleep in night. Ars Alb 200 did not help me, 6 and 30 are OK, so for trying any other high potency I start using Ars Alb 6.
After Rhus Tox 30, the effectiveness of Ars Alb 6 + Kali Phos 6x diminished.

Last year, after changing home, the symptoms developed over one and half months.
1. Centralized air conditioning and
2. Inulin (one of the soluble fibers) rich food causing bloating in stomach and making kidney to difficult to filter water, there by water retention. Normally we eat 2-3 grams of inulin each day (wheat, Onion, Banana, Garlic, etc.). It is now additive to yoghurt, sauce and so many processed food. Thereby intake can increase to 10-15 grams a day. I feel higher intake creates problem with me. Homeopathic medicines derived from inulin sources include: Inula, Taraxacum, dioscorea, Allium cepa/sativa).
Treatemts options used:

1. Allopathic medicines and CPAP machine did not help.
2. CPAP machine, while sleeping did not help.
2. Added Serrapeptase One week: Serrapeptase is an enzyme (http://www.life-enthusiast.com/enzyme/serrapeptase.pdf) which gave me 15% improvement.
Homeopathy options started
3. Histaminum 30 was able to make be breath normally day time, stoped using allopathic medicines and CPAP machine
Still, I could not sleep for 100 days, out of bed due to fear of death.
4. Arsenic 30. I am able to sleep on abdomen (sleep position changed)
5. Kali Phos 6x helped me with getting rid of feeling: smoke, dust, in lungs

In addition to above post:
~ Brain very active (Computers, News, Astrology, Medicine, Herbal, Homeopathy)
~ General lifestyle - working on desk
~ Sleep pattern very disturbed for the last one year (2-3 hrs per day to max 4-5 hrs).
~ Diet agrees - Atkins like (High protein) or Ketogenic (High oil). So intake is low calorie, low carb. Still loosing weight is difficult. Carbohydrate diet cause much flatulence.
~ Previously liked sleeping on painful side (right) due to heat and pressure. But now as mentioned above, on stomach, with chest on pillow. Sometimes, I prefer sleeping while sitting.
~ Least affected by weather changes, but in rainy season, allergens are less in air, so feel better.
~ Draft affects neck pain, specially cold.
~ No known allergy condition, which can cause health problem - Except
~ Excess of inulin is problem as mentioned above. If I drink 5-10 gram inulin in glass of water, I can have allergic reaction including on skin. It is like eating two bread is OK with me. If I eat four breads, I may be uncomfortable. Such reactions are very rare, because inulin is part of every day diet.

In continuation of previous two mails about eating:
Yesterday I ate no grains, just ate two eggs, about 100 grams of fish, some salad. Today also no grain, just two eggs, about 200 grams chicken, cooked spinach (with some potato and eggplant).
If I take grain, I would like fried stuff (like Bhature, Poori), or put Ghee to minimize carbohydrate flatulence.
I can be classified as having liking for salty and oily stuff.

If i give you any advise it is like showing a candle to the Sun!!
i suggest you to consider the Hahnemannian trio ...
calc carb... lyco.... sulph...
Sulphur is the remedy of philosophers and performers.
So you should do some serious research on this possibility.
The folowing constitutions feel well in damp wet weather..
Alum
Asar
Caust
Hep
Medorr.
Mur Acid
Nux
So also have look at all these, we have talked about caust. earlier.

Dear Dr. Kadwa,
Thanks for various recommendations. Please give me a list of constitutions/cause by Central heating. Central heating have dryness, bursts of hot air blow, sudden cold to hot, etc. attribute. I have come across only one medicine Kali Carb associated with cause (or aggravation) with central heating.
I am sure, the soultion could be in list of medicines with cause/aggravation as
1. Central Heating and
2. Inulin
In fact I once made dilution of inulin in distilled water. It gives me skin symptoms, but does not offer cure.
Based of Hahnemann theory of miasms, I think all possible medicines are tried. So I doubt any suppression to exist in body. Subsequently I investigated into other approaches and got some success with Grauvogl Hydrogenoid constitution. Recently I am thinking of investigating Sankaran's Cancer miasm.
I'll try Hahnemann tro at some opportune moment. Individually, Lyco (any potency) has been helper. Sulph (6-30), helps initially, subsequently it increases neck pain as if I am proofing of Sulph neck symptoms. Sulph high has been tried several times and now I avoid.
One of the problems is as if I am proofing of medicine rather than medicines curing. Lack of reaction - I tried some leading, please suggest some.
All the medicines you recommended will be on my watch list.
To summarize, please let me know about:
1. List of leading medicines with cause/aggravation as "Central Heating" - dry, hot air.
2. List of "lack of reaction" close to my constitution.

Dear Dr. Kadwa,
Today I started having kidney stone pain. Basically in left ureter. So for me it became time for R27 and drinking lots of beer. It happens couple of times a year for the last 20 years and managed like this. In two-three days it will become normal.
This time it started with a lot chilliness in whole body. Sharp pain in perhaps in left ureter.
However, with R27, I started having breathing difficulty set in, but it is not severe.

I have interesting update too. After taking input from you, I narrowed down to down that Carb v and Kali s.
Alumen has Kali Sulph so in low potency, it will exhibit behavior of Kali Sulph also. I found that Carb v 6x and Alumen 12 are helping in respiration. Being hydrogenoid, opted for lowest potency of these medicines available with me.
So now the dependency on Arsenic and Histaminum for respiratory issue is broken.
Here is summary of my response to hydrogenoid medicines:
From the list of hydrogenoids (to best of my knowledge):
- Those helped: Nat Carb, Carb Veg, Alumen, Puls, Ars+Nux, Borax, Nitr. Acid,
- Those never helped me: Nat Sul, Apis, Spigelia, Conium, Calc Carb, Mag Phos, Silicea, Thuja, Ammon Mur
- Those not tried: Ars+Ipec, Aranea D, Mag Carb, Iodine, Bromine, Chlorine, Antimony, Nat Nitric, Nat Acet
I'll appreciate any recommendation to come out from hydrogenoid behavior to carbo nitrogenoid behavior, which is normal healing process if Grauvogl constitutional approach is taken.
