This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It is not the level of your Insulin that matters in the case of a Diabetic. It is more your Blood Sugar level which you have stated as 162 as your FBSL or Fasting Blood Sugar Level.

The remedy that will help to reduce your BS level is Arnica 6c in the Wet dose taken twice daily and made up as follows:

Order the remedy in a 5ml Ethanol pack aka Liquid Dilution in a bottle with a dropper arrangement.
If this is not available the Dry dose in pellets may be use but this is not as effective as the remedy in the original Ethanol pack
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle or 5 Pellets and shake it hard to produce bubbles. This is homeopathic succussion and must be done every time before a capful of the bottle which is the dose is taken as directed.

When were you diagnosed as a Diabetic and what drugs were you prescribed?

Insulin does not work properly, when you have Insulin Resistance.

There are 100s of supplements claiming to reduce insulin resistance. But when it comes as recommendation, Chromium is at top.

I have heard about claims of Homeopathic Insulinum helping in it. Also Arnica helping in it.

Insulin Resistance is linked to problems with GLUT4 transport, the way glucose is delivered in muscles. Anaerobic, muscle building, resistance exercises helps in improving GLUT4 transport.

If high triglycerides are cause of insulin resistance, better to take Aerobic exercise (walking, running, swimming, cycling, etc.) to reduce it.

Based on verities of symptoms, there are at least fifties on homeopathic medicines for high blood sugar. But just telling 162 fasting may not be enough for narrow down to a medicine.

Thank you for the information on the etiology of Diabetes and Insulin Resistance. I am not a qualified medical or Homeopathic practicioner but it was a chance discovery that I made in treating a Type I Diabetic for a non healing wound who alerted me to a drop in his BS level overnight, that made me to continue with my research in treating Diabetics for about 5 years with some success.

I have some cases of new Diabetics who had BS levels up to 340 and were using the standard drugs like Metformin who reported that their BS levels dropped down to around 100 overnight with just one capful of Arnica 6c in the Wet dose. They all reported that the burning feeling that they suffered from when taking their pills disappeared as soon as they started on the Arnica and that they also experienced unusually deep sleep.

I do hope that research will be conducted on a Double blind trial basis to build up information on the use of Arnica 6c in the Wet dose for the treatment of Diabetes which has not been reported ever before up to the time that I did so in 2005 on this and other Homeopathic Forums.

I note that you seem knowledgeable in the scientific background to Diabetes and would suggest that you spend some time in helping those who post their problems on this Forum.

In my case all my knowledge is self taught and there are many times where I feel the need for a more detailed analysis of a problem and it would be useful if I can count on your help to do so and I would like to have your email address as it is not listed in your profile while mine is.

I am aware that there are many Homeopathic remedies to help Diabetics chief among them being Syzygium Jambolarus Q and Insulinum 6x but I have not used them so far as my patients have responded to the Arnica in a manner that is unbelievable.

I can give a try to my wife, wo is diabetic. At some point of time she was taking 200 units of insulin. Now a days it is 15-25 units a day (yes dosing is variable).

It seems to me that 200 Units of Insulin is an inordinately large dose to be given in a 24 hour period. I am relieved that she now is on just 15-25 Units daily.

You should find that her BS level will come down by around 20% within 24 hours and it can even go lower to 33%. As soon as she find this new reading she must reduce her Insulin ASAP.

I shall be interested to have her case record if possible.

Day 1:
Arnica 6C twice

Sugar jumped by 100%. The reading in evening went to 232. Insulin was doubled to handle the sugar jump.

This sudden rise in BS levels has not been reported ever before and is is obvious that Arnica cannot help your wife.

Please revert back to your standard daily routine with Insulin without the Arnica.

Thanks Joe for the info.I started on Homeo meds recently on advice of family homeo medical practitioner. I am having diabetic since 1985 and have been on alloepathic meds till now. my homeo practitioner suggested to continue both form of medicines. One good point is that for the past one year the test results are consistent at same levels of FBSL.The homeo medicines are Ocimum Canum, gymnema sylvestra, magniflora.
Pl advise.

You have requested my advice on the 3 remedies you listed and I regret that I do not have any experience with them.

I have many cases of chronic Diabetics Type I and II who have benefitted by using Arnica 6c in the manner that I have prescribed above. You may like to know that I was the first Homeopath to observe that Arnica helped to lower BS levels as it is not listed for Diabetes in the Repertories and MM's in current use.

You too can use this remedy and report your response which you should experience within 24 hours after the first dose.

It is understood that you will not stop the drugs that you are taking today till you have found that your BS levels have been helped to reduce by the Arnica. You will then reduce the drugs but take the Arnica to compensate them to maintain a comfortable BS level.
