Dear All,

I have a 3.5 years old daughter, that suffers from stubborn chalazions. In March that year appeared the first one, two months later appeared two more. The chalazions are on both eyes, upper lids, there is no pain, no redness, just bumps. The first chalazion started growing again two weeks ago. I tried Silicea, staphysagria, Euprhasia, nothing works. Please help my child. Her eyes seem so weird.

looking for your answer

regards

Please tell us more about her - personality, emotions, mental make up, thermal preferences, food cravings/ aversions, her reactions to events, etc.

Re: stubborn chalazionFrom calistra [Log on to view profile] on 2009-12-28
She is very calm and loving child, very fond of her family, lightly showing her love and affection. She copes with other childern very well. She definitely prefers eating meat and sweeties and prefers staying on medium warm temperatures, at abou 20-22C.
She has blue eyes, white skin and light brown hair.

If you need more information please ask.

Regards

Does she prefer indoors or outdoors?

How does she respond to somebody shouting at her?

How is her anger and other emotions expressed?

Does she weep? If yes, how?

Re: stubborn chalazionFrom calistra [Log on to view profile] on 2009-12-28
She prefers outdoors. When somebody shouts at her she starts crying, but not very loud. When angry, she leaves the room and slaps the door after her, in 5 minutes comes back and everything is Ok. Sometimes she tries hitting the person she is angry at. When she is happy she starts jumping from joy.

Do you think there is suppression or indignation of some sort with her?

Is it appropriate to describe her as gentle, mild and yielding?

Can you say if she is chilly (prefers hot) or hotty (prefers cold)?

How is her thirst normally?

Re: stubborn chalazionFrom calistra [Log on to view profile] on 2009-12-28
I do not think that there is suppression or indignation with her.
I can describe her as genle, loving but not yielding. when she decides something she is very persistent in achieving her wish.

she trinks a lot of water.

Is she sensitive to sounds? Does she startle easily?

How does she react to thunder storms, etc.?

Does she have any fears?

How is her sleep?

Is she thirsty for cold or warm drinks?

Does she cover when she sleeps?

Re: stubborn chalazionFrom calistra [Log on to view profile] on 2009-12-28
she is sensitive to sounds. when she hears something she always asks what is it. when the sound is unknown to her she gets frigtened, but when the sound is familiar to her she just mentions the sound withou any sigh of fear or worry.
When there is a thunder storm she always cuddle in me, but shows no obvious fear. Just comes to me and say" Mommy hug me"
I do not think that she has any fears.
She sleeps very well. She does not wake up in the night. normally she sleeps at about 10 hours in the night without wakening. during her sleep she tries to uncover. the temperature in the room is about 18C.
She is thirsty for cold drinks.

Please give her one dose of Sulphur 200 (on one single day) and post feedback after a week.

Usual homeo restrictions apply.

What do you mean under one dose? Do you mean Sulphur 200 CH

Re: stubborn chalazionFrom srisri [Log on to view profile] on 2009-12-28
One dose is about 8 pills/ globules or 2 drops in about 30 ml of water.

Yes, Sulphur 200 CH.

Hi Srisri,

sorry for the delay, but I have difficulties finding Sulphur 200C. I gave my daughter one dose of Sulphur 200 C last Monday, but I see no change.
I have to mention that during that week she was taking also antibiotics because she had otitis media.

What should I do next?

Dear Kadwa,

I cannot find calc fluor 6x and silicea 6x. I am from Bulgaria and the only homeoptahy sold here is that of Boiron. Would you please send me alternative of 6x, because nobody has heard of it. I am offered potency of 5CH, 9CH, 15CH and everything produced by Boiron.

Looking forward to hearing from you

Re: stubborn chalazionFrom kadwa [Log on to view profile] on 2010-02-15
calc fluor 6x and silicea 6x are known as D6 Calc Flour and D6 Silicea. These are Schuessler Tissue Salts. Please search you should get. These are very popular in Germany.

Dear Kidwa,

today is the 10th day of the prescribed treatment.
Definitely there is a change. There is a reduction in the size of the biggest bump and now it is very soft on touch, the others are almost invisible, but they are still there.

What should I do next?

Regards

Re: stubborn chalazionFrom kadwa [Log on to view profile] on 2010-03-02
Please continue with the tissue salts for another 5 days and report back.

Re: stubborn chalazionFrom calistra [Log on to view profile] on 2010-03-09
Dear Kadwa,

I continued with the tissue salts as you recommended, but now the chalazions are red, big and look very irritated. What could be the reason?. everything seemed OK, but now they look awful, but there is no pain

What should I do next?

Re: stubborn chalazionFrom kadwa [Log on to view profile] on 2010-03-09
Whether the size of chalazions is greater than where we started?
Whether it was painful earlier and now it is not?
Whether there was no redness when we started?
When did the things change in these 5 days.

If you look at the following thread
http://www.abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/173862/

You will find that such aggravation did take place there also and it passed away on it's own when the remedies were stopped. So please stop all remedies and report back after 10 days.

Re: stubborn chalazionFrom calistra [Log on to view profile] on 2010-03-22
Dear Kidwa,

I stopped all remedies and now the chalazions look a little bit better than when we started the treatment. The skin colour over the chalazions is a little bit redish, but only on the top of the bumps. But the chalazions are still there. Why nothing helps my child?

I am looking for your answer

Regards
