Repost ... New mom needs help! Stopped medication. Please read! Page 2 of 2

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Since 'Hashimoto's Thyroiditis' is autoimmune disease and a kind of organ problem (failure) you need to supplement yourself with thyroid hormone - synthetic or through animal sources.

You can try homeopathy to improve efficiency of whatever limited thyroid hormone is there. Thyroidinum 6x three times a day and Calc Phos 6x three times a day can be tried to find out this, whether they are alleviating symptoms or not.

Depending on nature of autoimmune destruction, sometimes, it is possible to curb this or improve this using homeopathy. But a word of caution, most of autoimmune diseases can't be cured.

Good luck

As things are getting better recently there is no need to take any remedy for the time being.

Thank you for your response. I disagree however, I feel that all disease has a cure. I feel that my autoimmune disease is caused by a life of chronic stress and depressing circumstances as a child through adult, I believe that finding the correct remedy along with a good diet and exercise - eliminating stress and learning new stress relief strategies - meditation, breathwork, yoga etc. WILL cure this disease. I am not there yet, but am doing my work to get there to be at optimal health.

also a quick note ... my TSH levels are slightly closer to normal this month and my T4 IS now in the normal range - there is improvement. I am not ready to give up yet.

Ignorance is bliss - some times. As a side note type-1 diabetes has no cure yet and people always have to take insulin.
