Dr. Sameer, Need Your Help for Daughter! Page 2 of 4

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Dr. Sameer,

My daughter's two teeth on either side of the front two has not come out even after many months after she lost them (3-4 months or more) She also was late to teeth as an infant and her first teeth appeared only when she was 14-15 months.

- She still has a cough (short bursts) that gets worse sometimes. But there are long periods when she goes without coughing.

- She says she feels her left ear feels blocked. That was the same ear where she had pain a couple of days back.

- She complains of the food like boiled eggs, being sour sometimes.

- She simply refuses to talk on the phone to her friend from school. She says she is 'shy'. I try to do play-acting as her friend on phone to help, but this has not helped. She is completelt averse to talking on phone.

- She still has the feeling that a drop of urine is not coming out. And she sits on the toilet sometimes for 5 mins or more trying to get that last drop out.

- Her underwear sometimes has a dark grey patch and smells considerably, even after I make sure she wears a clean one everyday.

- She is mouth breathing at nights, and I can see her jaw moving up and down as she draws air in through the mouth.

- There is some bleeding in gums and her gums look swollen above her front two teeth. Gums also have receded a bit and her two front teeth look huge.

_ The enamel on her front two teeth does not have the shine as though it is worn out, and her teeth gets yellow and does not shine up even after brushing.

- She has a tendency to feel jealous when I show her sister / brother love, inspite of the fact I give her a lot of attention and am quite expressive in my love to her.

- She loves to draw pictures, or engage in making art/craft things. And also loves to write stories. It is as though she is talking on paper, and is productive.

- She does not want to read books though and I have to remind her to read as well.

- She loves talking pretending her hand is a hamster and does a lot of baby talk while playing.

- She has been mentioning words like 'death' while talking to her sister and also writes li'l notes on which it says she will be a traveler when she grows up but may never come back home.

- She has been noticing how other 'skinny' girls look and how asked me why her thighs were so fat. Even though she is not obese or even simply 'fat'.

- Right now, she is playing well with her sister and brother.

Is there a follow-up for calc carb the remedy she had had last that would help her complete her teething?

Thank You for looking into this, Dr. Sameer!

God Bless!
M.

Some things I forgot to mention:

-She has these small bumps on forehead.

-Her school report was much better than last trimester's.

- She is constipated.

Please give her wet 3 doses of PULSATILLA 30c at 30 mins gap, and report after 10 days.

sameervermani last decade
Dear Dr.Sameer,

I gave my daughter the 3 doses of Pulsatilla 30C on the 18th.

And after that:

- The first few days she was complaining of not 'feeling well', headaches(front forehead) etc.

- I did notice that she had stopped telling me about the urine drop that was not coming out. But I still suspect that she was visiting the toilet frequently. Sometimes I get so busy in the kitchen that I can't pay attention to what she is doing.

- Her mood was on a roller-coaster. She would get upset quite easily at trivial things, and would not be consoled even if I tried. And after I would leave her alone for a 5-10 mins she would be 'back' to normalcy.

- Since Saturday 17th, her problem with having to go to the toilet in the evening before bed, has seemingly increased. I am not sure if this is because that she also has a tendency to drink water right before bedtime and she drinks water as if she has had no water for a long time. I am still trying to get her to drink lots of water in the daytime, and not before bedtime. But I think she does not get enough water in the daytime especially when she is at school.

Her mood has slightly improved now than when compared to first few days right after she took Pulsatilla.

Last night, again she asked for water before bedtime, and then said she felt like going again. She listened when I told her to go to sleep.

Kindly please advise, Dr. Sameer.

God Bless!

OOPS!
I meant to say - I gave my daughter 3 doses of Pulsatilla 30C on the '8th' (not the eighteenth).

Dr. Sameer,

Kindly see me earlier post as well.

I just wanted to update you about my daughter:

Yesterday:
- She complains of ticklish feelings in her fingers, and says she cannot hold the pencil while doing her homework. This is reflected in her handwriting as well as it has become worse than before. I remember her having this same problem when we went to India in the first year, where her handwriting had changed from neat and orderly to opposite.

- I observed she was getting easily startled. This was just once.

- She is making more mistakes in her class assignments in both english and maths.

- When I scold her she take it more to heart than before and she started to do loud-mouth breathing last night. She was upset as she thought i was 'angry at her'. This happened as she was doing the 'drink-water-go-to-the toilet' cycle a few times and I had to raise my voice to tell her to stop that and go to sleep. So then I had to lay down next to her to console her, and then the loud mouth-breathing stopped. I don't think she is consciously doing the loud mouth-breathing to let me know how she feels, though.

- She asks for water before hitting the bed, and drinks in huge gulps often finishing the whole glass. Then she needs to go to the loo and she sometimes sits there for quite sometime trying to get that last drop out. She also strains while she is doing that, and I ask her to not do that as it might put too much pressure on the bladder.

- One of her tooth on the lower jaw on the left side, appears starngely translucent with blood inside that I can see. It looks pretty scary. It is as though there is no tooth enamel. Sometimes she talks about pain in that tooth. But not all times. She does not have any cavities. I am not sure why this has happened, and have never seen anything like that before!

This morning she was okay as went to school without much fuss. There was no mouth-breathing, not mention of needing water even after breakfast, and no visiting the toilet after the first time.

So this whole behavior in the evening is a real mystery!

I do think that the calcarea carbonica that she had had did wonderful on the mood front, and also the learning part. But I wonder if it introduced the teething problem, as her 2 teeth on either side of the two front do not show any signs of coming out after I think more than 6 months (it could be more, as my daughter thinks maybe a year).

plz advise, Dr. Sameer!
Thank You!

ALso another thing I forgot to mention:

- Sometimes when she speaks her grammer seem to be off. Like this morning she said something like - 'I awake up when you called me'...She used to have this confusion with words and make spelling and grammatical mistakes before calcarea carb. But after she had calc carb she had improved.

Thought it was impt.

- Noticed she is getting hiccups ...sometimes.

Please order Calcarea Carb in LM1 and LM2 potencies from Helios UK. You should order teat dropper bottle, with 30 ml oral liquid.

Dr. Sameer,

I have Calcara Carbonica 1 m from Boiron in the tablet form. Is this the same as LM1?

Do you prefer that I get the liquid remedy? If so, I will surely place an order today.

Thank You.

bumping up...

Dr. Sameer,

I have Calc Carb 1m from Boiron, and if this is the same as LM1 could I go ahead with this? I am worried as things got a little worse today.

- Her spelling has become atrocious ...to the point she is spelling word 'end' as 'ned'. Also she is spelling the same word different ways in the same page.

- She has become worried about a little black dot I discovered yesterday evening on the lower part of an upper tooth, and I had told her that is could be cavity.

- She says her hand gets ticklish whenever she worried about the cavity in her tooth.

- She says because of this ticklish feeling in her hands she can not even hold her math text book. Also she could not go all the way on the monkey-bars while I was watching her today.

- She said she spent today's recess time at school worrying about her tooth, and hence did not play.

- Before going to bed she cried that I should brush her teeth once, and when I told her to do it herself, she started telling me that I don't care about her. So finally I brushed her teeth inspite of the fact that she had already done so.

- She drank lots of water just before going to bed, which made her go to the bathroom couple of times before bed.

Please advise on the calc carb 1m I have at hand.

Thank You.

Dr. Sameer,

I just got following message from Helios UK-
'Please note that the volcanic cloud from Iceland is continuing to disrupt mail services both in the U.K. and overseas.
We will continue to process orders as usual, but there may be a delay in them arriving.'

Also kindly check the previous message for latest on my daughter's condition.

And do advise on calc carb 1m that I have.

God Bless!

Dr. Sameer,

An update on my daughter's condition:

Referring to my post on 04/21:
- One of her tooth on the lower jaw on the left side, appears starngely translucent with blood inside that I can see. It looks pretty scary. It is as though there is no tooth enamel. Sometimes she talks about pain in that tooth. But not all times. She does not have any cavities. I am not sure why this has happened, and have never seen anything like that before!

Today:
-------
When my daughter was running her tongue over that tooth mentioned above, the crust like top-portion broke off couple of mm above the base line of the tooth, and is now exposing through a triangular hole the pink insides of the tooth.

So my daughter spat out couple of tiny pieces of tooth which looked kind of translucent. Now she is saying when the air hits the tooth she feels pain.

I will let you know right after I receive the calc carb LM remedies from Helios.

Thanks,
M.

ALso tonight when my daugter brushed her teeth blood started pouring out from this tooth. She was not in much pain though.

So I looked at the tooth structure and realized that it was the enamel layer that broke off. Now I am not sure why the layer underneath -which should be 'dentine' - is so bloody?

Dr. Sameer, Will this enamel problem also be addressed by Calc Carb?

M.

Dissolve 5 drops of LM1 in 250 ml spring water, and give a spoon from there.

Report in 3-4 days.

Dr. Sameer,

Sorry about the gap in posting.

I just wanted to update you about my daughter's dental appt on May 4th. The dentist had the tooth that was breaking apart extracted. And I think Novocaine was given before the extraction was done for numbing.

I have not yet given the homeo remedy. Now that three days are over since Novocaine can I give the calc carb on Saturday May 8th?

Notes:

- The tooth that was extracted was as I had thought just the enamel, and was *hollow*. The dentist could not explain it why the tooth was not fully developed.

- There is the permanent tooth right below the extracted tooth that is coming up.

- My daughter had a routine examination and cleaning done. And dentist has given appt in June to put a 'sealent' over her molars to prevent cavities.

Will this hamper the effectiveness of the homeo remedy? If this may be so, then I will cancel the appt she has in June.

Thanks,

Regards,
M.

I do not know what the impact of the dentist appointment would be.

But, you can give the Calc Carb now.

Notes continued...

May 14th:
Just before nighttime my daughter came to my room when I was trying to get her li'l sister to sleep (my youngest daughter still sleeps with me), and she started crying and saying she does not 'feel well', and that she feels like vomiting, and that she is having trouble breathing through her mouth, and that her nose is blocked.
Also she said sometimes she feels like drinking water 'every minute' but she gets scared to go and get the water herself.

After I consoled her by sleeping next to her holding her in my arms, and sang some songs to her, she calmed down and went to sleep holding my hand. ANd I checked to see if she was breathing through her mouth, it did not seem that way to me.

I am wondering is this was just my daughter's jealous mood. My youngest daughter is very expressive with her love, and today she was shouting out 'I-love-you's and was being very demonstrative in her love. And I also got the feeling my oldest daughter was observing, but pretending not to notice us.

I just thought I should mention this because when my daughter says 'I don't feel well' without apparently anything wrong physically, it worries me.

And such episodes had not been happening for a long time now.

waiting for your advise..
Thanks,
M.

Bumping up...

My daughter has been complaining of vomiting sensation/headache (right-side forehead) on and off, also her handwriting has become worse- big and scrawly. She also hurt her right wrist after she climbed the doorway holding onto the sides with hands.

She says the right wrist also has a ticklish feeling, and she has to press it sometimes with the other hand.

Emotionally she is okay, but there are times when she gets very whiny, and also sometimes jealous about her li'l sister at times.

PLease advise, Dr. Sameer.

Thanks,
M.
