ACNE. is it curable in homeopathy???
hi,i'm 22yrs old girl and i'm suffering from acne when i was 18, and still i have the same problem i used many medicines and some of them worked for the time being, i tried homeopathy and it helped me but after few weeks acne started again.
its my experience that we can control acne but its not curable, and now i'm looking for dr.willmar schwabe medicines, i dont know which medicine is best for me,
i have acne on my cheecks and forehead, there are bunch of red and black spots, and there are black and white heads on my face, my skin is sensative and oily,
How to get rid of acne? my skin doesnt look neat. is there any side effect of taking medicine by mouth? If someone can help me then plz post ur reply...

when homoeopathy applied treatng totality of symptoms --acne go as result---when homoeopathy used treat only acne symptoms--suppressive and show vitalness if come back (wrong treatment)--need treat you as whole and acne is only a characteristic symptom guiding to proper treatment---
think of yourself as whole not pieces this homoeopathic way--though some tell you otherwise--treating only one symptom
to treat whole need more info--no easy way for prescriber or ill person--

Hello Sonia,
Whilst, analysing your constitutional symptoms will need a list of your detailed symptoms from you and analysis by us ....which is likely to take time....you can start with :
ECHINACEA Q ...Mother tincture 5 drops in some water , three times a day ...to be taken internally.
At the end of first week you will see a noticeable improvement. In 3 to 4 weeks.... most of the acne will heal.
This medicine works for 95% of the cases. Also builds, in the human system, an immunity towards a number of infections. No known side effects.....a number of websites will give you more details about this medicine.
There are other homeopathic medicines to clear up the residual marks of acne on the skin. Get to the healing stage then post feed back for more info.
Avoid fried food, tea, coffee, chocolates, colas etc.

its me sonia again, thanks for ur advice, i want to try some more medicines, now a days i'm having homeodose 24, and vitamin b 12.
now can i take Enchinacea Q with these medicines? and now i've heard about vitamin b5, and sulphur, can i take both or one at a time? bcoz i have acne pimples and spots on my face and in a week there is a very special day comming in my life can u please tell me any good and fast cure, please tell me the quantity also, waiting for ur reply.

I don't know the composition of homeodose 24. Is it on the internet?? Its not available im my country.
Continue taking vitamins.
For quick results take:
ECHINACEA Q ( OR 1X)
plus
BERBERIS AQUIFOLIUM Q (or 1X)
Add five drops each of both in some water and take it four times a day.
Avoid other meds.
Sorry, no magic wand to clear your skin in one week. Wish I had one. Would have been a millionare by now , if I had one. Just keep taking the meds so that on your next important day you have a clear skin.

Hey. Im 21 and i suffered sever acne for 4 years of which i was constantly on anti-biotics. Until someone told me about vitamin b5 (and a healthier diet). Now i've perfectly clear skin and i never use anti-bacterial face wash.
The science behind how it works can be found here:

but the basics i've learned are:
- vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) is vital for making both enzymes and hormones
- spots are caused by fats in food not being broken down due to a lack of the necessary enzymes, and these fats clog up your pores. If your body uses up the B5 on hormones then the spots get worse (hence it being worst during puberty)
- by flooding the body with vitamin B5 over a long period your body builds up enzyme production and works effectively at preventing spots itself.
- Vitamin B5 (like vitamin C) is water-soluble, which means you cannot take too much because any that your body doesn't use is discarded in your urine.
- I took 10grams a day (that's 20 x 500mg tablets!! - very expensive im afraid) for about 6 months and now im on 5grams a day and will be for many years i imagine.
- You first notice results after about a month, clear skin takes 3-6 months. Don't give up hope too easily!
- You will also notice less of an oily Tzone and weight loss.
- finally, antibiotics actually make the problem worse. Smoking and alcohol make it worse.
it seriously works, but it is expensive. However so are all these cosmetic products which claim to reduce spots and can actually irritate your skin making it worse. Acne starts too deep for a face wash. And if your on antibiotics for your acne please replace them with B5. I did serious damage to my digestive system from antibiotics, 3 years later and it purrs like a kitten.
6 months ago i tested that it definitely was the B5 by reducing the dose, and sure enough a few weeks later some very painful acne spots emerged.
