| Strep Throat lingering | From karenbryson [Log on to view profile] | on 2009-05-14 | | 1 replies | 1099 views | Hi,
I recently had strep throat but do not know what strain. It was a general culture done in a doctor's office but tested positive for strep. I had a high fever of 104, very sore throat - like glass and swollen lymph nodes. It came on quite sudden and started feeling very lethargic and then got the chills. I took an antibiotic for 2 days - Levaquin, but had reactions to it and stopped. I decided to try to get rid of it using natural remedies. A week and a half later, I think it is still hanging on. I'm extremely fatigued, no fever or sore throat, but I can feel discomfort in my right ear and noticed my throat still looks a little swollen on the right side with a very small amount of pus left. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks so much | | | | Re: Strep Throat lingering | From Zahid)2 [Log on to view profile] | on 2009-05-15 | Try merc sol 30c thrice daily for 3 days. |
