Info to practice in USA
How I can practice homeopathy in USA. Any info or links will be greatly appreciated. E-mail raj_0101@yahoo.comSincerely,

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Even I am looking for some guidance to practice homeopathy in USA. Do we need to undergo any evaluation process of our degrees in USA.

After my own research last year, I found that each state is different. As someone was helping me, I do not know how to direct your own reasearch.
Some states do not allow homeopathy as a public medicine. Some states require certification as a herbalist.
Other states, you are clear of the law if you "give away" homeopathy. You would have to be a religious, non-profit organization to do this safely and legally.
Drs of oriental medicine and acupuncturists are in pretty good safety here, and practice homeopathy "with" these.
Even though I have practiced for a long time, I do not advertize and I do not "charge" but accept donations. I am beginning to divide all my supplies between many people in the event that the gov. gets hasty and decides to interfere big time.
Now, within this same past year our government has begun the homeguard organization that watches any "other" type of anything that is out of the "normal" concepts that are allowed by the AMA. (and all other things) We now can be arrested and put in jail without benefit of a lawyer.
It is getting very political here and with unreasonable attitudes of the public about calling anyone that "looks different" terrorists. Many are not safe.
After 9-11 many innocent people from other countries were murdered by ignorant "americans" here.
Also, there is rampant ignorance about alternative medicine of any sort by the american public. Over the years since 1890, the public have been tought that they are ignorant and only doctors may tell them what is wrong and and are much like "gods." By 1940 the majority of the public was completely indoctrinated into this concept.
Since 1907, the AMA has been stomping on all other alternative procedures. There used to be homeopathic colleges here in the states, but they were forced to close. Only MDs were deemed legal to practice homeopathy. It has gone down rapidly since.
Government is attempting to discourage ANY meds other than the allopathic and are hand in hand with the pharmaceutical cooperations.
So, think this over carefully and do some research with the above facts.

I myself live in USA. You can practice Homeopathy here. So far there is no regulation concernign Homeopathy and herbal madicine in most of the states. There is no need of any licanse etc. One can buy any homeopathy medice from this website (abchomeoptathy) or from GMC etc. Mostly it is on the concent of the retailer to sell a medicine or not. Like if you want to buy some mother tinctures from abchomeopathy they will ask your your doctor's (MD's) prescription (not from any body else).

Thanks pw3000! so does one need to register somewhere as a homeopathic practitioner? I know of the SB577 law that now lets one have " Freedom of Practice" But any suggestions on the rules ..like registering somewhere...certain norms/regulations to be followed to practice etc? Thanks!
