We have been using antibiotic ear drops that are safe to go into the middle ear as prescribed by ENT to keep infection down. He's had no pain, drainage or problems for awhile. | | |

Is there any chances of postponing the surgery by a week or two .
I can very well understand the urgency , fear and anxieties , but still u have battled with these problems for so many years , a wait of few weeks shouldnt be that much of a problem .

his dad won't go for postponing surgery. He's not into homeopathy and natural healing as I am.
We will do arnica.
Dr. ordered MRI to further explore abnormalities in right ear, which extreme anxiety prevented them from doing yesterday, even with oral sedation. His MRI will be at a later date when he can be more heavily sedated. Maybe Sameer Vermani can still help in this area. How does one contact him, though?

for the problems in ear and until the operation takes place plz start with this:
Start with Psorinum 200. Give this medicine right early in the morning with empty stomach. No eating for at least one hour after the medicine.
Then start the following:
Ferrum Phos 6x + Kali Mur 6x + Kali Sulf 6x + Silicea 6x three times a day for one week immediately. | | |

I guess I should ask if this combination is for the infection, the growth, or the surgery and recovery. We have found that ear infection is not the problem, but rather the growth in the ear. Thank you for your advice. | | |

Just warning you that the above prescription can cause long term problems. You would be better off staying away from it.

the above perscription has been very effective in order to remove wax or ear infections. I didn't know that it was growth in the ear. Sorry for that. But for infection the perscription is wonderful. | This thread continues beneath the following ad.

The remedy is Arsenicum Album without a doubt, and that should take care of the growth in the ear as well.
But, you have decided for surgery now, so I am not sure if we have the time.

I really wish I had more time, but I don't. So now I am curious about the MRI he will have. CT scan showed tissue mass in right middle ear and thinning bone between middle ear and brain in right ear. The Dr. order at the imaging center used the words encephalocele and tegmen, which would be a herniation of brain tissue into the middle ear through a weakness/crack in skull. This will not be verified until we have MRI. Will remedy have any chance of helping this type of problem?
Does arsenicum seem to be his constitutional remedy?
Am I correct in giving arnica before and after surgery?

Arsenicum is the similimum according to the current symptoms (atleast it seems so to me).
It should benefit him on all fronts.
Giving a few doses of Arnica before surgery should be ok. | | |
