To Maheeru, help with tissue salts during the 9th month of pregnancy

Hello Maheeru,

In one of the previous posts, you had suggested the following to be used in pregnancy:

Caulophylllum 30c: Every 4th day from the start of 9th month till due date.
- Should this be used only once a day every fourth day of 9th month? And if yes, then how many pills per day?

Caulophyllum 200c: 2 days before due date - 3 - 4 doses for 48 hours till delivery.
What do you mean by one dose? How many pills comprise one dose?

tissue salts:
Calc Flour 6x + Kali Phos 6x + Calc Phos 6x + Ferrum Phos 6x - 3 - 4 pills of each type/3 times a day on alternating weeks till the end of the 8th month.

In the 9th month, Kali Phos 6x + Mag Phos 6x on alternating weeks till delivery date.
Regarding the use of the above mentioned 2 tissue salts to be used in 9th month (Kali Phos 6x + Mag Phos 6x), I was wondering if I could include Calc Flour 6x to Kali Phos 6x and Mag Phos 6x to be taken on alternating weeks? I am interested in using Calc Flour because I heard that it is good for skin elasticity. My hope is that it will prevent stretch marks. Or atleast reduce their appearance even if I do get them.

Also, I have started using the previously mentioned 4 tissue salts (Calc Flour 6x + Kali Phos 6x + Calc Phos 6x + Ferrum Phos 6x) on alternating weeks and I plan to stop at the end of the 8th month. So far, I have not seen any stretch marks and I do not have side effects by using the pills.

I have heard that Arnica Mont 1M is best to be used after delivery for easier and faster recovery. How many doses of this, how soon after delivery and for how many days? Should this be taken even before delivery?

Calendula Tincture: To bathe the tears (if there are any after delivery) with calendula tincture drops mixed in warm water.
Also, what would be good medicines to take for sore/cracked nipples and engorgement.

Any/all answers/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
HI SSVR

YOu have asked what constitutes ONE dose in general so I'd answer it first---3 pills or 3 drops depending upon pills or liquid medicine.

Caulophyllum 30c dosage was only one dose every 4 days. That means you'll have to take 3 pills or drops every 4 days. Caulophyllum 200c during the 48 hours for delivery you can take 3 pills or 3 drops every 6 hours while you're awake.

I didn't suggest calc. fluor. in my post. But if you're interested that's your decision as long as you feel comfortable. For stretch marks I feel it'd be better if you start using it post-delivery.

Arnica 1M can be taken a dose before the day of delivery, on the day of delivery(preferably post delivery) and the day after---so maximum 3 or 4 doses. A SINGLE dose is 3 pills or drops.

Yes for tears, you can bathe them with calendula tincture. If necessary for some days 6x calendula can also be taken.

If you have sore/cracked nipples now you may consider taking belladonna a few doses and see. If you're looking medicine for management of sore/cracked nipples during nursing there are more than one medicine and one that is close to your symptoms will help. some possibilities are: Borax, Silicea, calc. phos.

Best wishes.

SSVR

I'd like to add some information to my earlier post. I missed one common remedy while talking about sore/cracked nipples during nursing--that is---phytolacca. And please keep in mind among these possibilities the one that fits your symptom profile will help you.

And would like to add a few points:

1) What I suggested regarding caulophyllum 30c was just a course correction with regarding to frequency. You may google it to find out how contemporary and competent homeopaths suggest caulophyllum infrequent doses to make the pregnancy easy. You may have to take this remedy for sure, if you get false labor pains well before the due date.

2) Other points like using kali phos 6x and mag. phos 6x in 9th month, usage of arnica 1M before and after delivery---I've personally used this protocol in many to-be mothers with cent percent effectiveness. The tip like using arnica 1M before and after delivery to prevent complication and to negate the delivery trauma comes from the eminent prof. Kent for instance. If you want you can check classical literature for such tips and pearls of wisdom.

3) But I always add a rider that if some discomfort is noted while intake of some remedy, it should be stopped and the situation should be analysed for suitable course correction.

Best wishes for your smooth delivery.
