chronic withholding/constipation in 3yo

Hello,
Hoping to find advice on using homeopathy on our daughter. She will be 3yo in March and has had slow bm since she started on solids. First we tried prunes and prune juice - gave her gas only. Next we tried a pear a day (this was when she was around 2yo) -this did not a thing that we could tell. (She ate only vegies early on and then we introduced Ezekiel bread and oat cereal; she was a breastfed baby for 2 years and 2 months.) Then an Italian friend told us to try pear juice and kiwi. Well they either both did it or I'm more sure that it was the kiwi, but this was the only thing that softened and changed the color (lighter) of her stool. But she needed to eat one kiwi a day and she got tired of that in 2 weeks. And by that point she had learned to withhold quite well.
We keep thinking of different things and try them (no wheat, dairy, etc.) and nothing seems to get it soft enough.
They are hard and dark and stinky. We recently increased her fluid intake, mostly by bribing her to drink before X (play, eating, etc). She is a great child, active and smart. She loves all kinds of foods (mushrooms and raw onions were early on her list of odd favorites).

So we see it as mostly a withholding problem which turns into a hard stool. She passes once every 5 days, but this has improved w/ our recently adding lots of fluid. She mostly passes at night while relaxed. They are larger than our adult stools.
She is not thirsty, as I've said; if we were to let her drink on her own she would only intake 10 oz a day. She tends to be on the warm side. I think she may have been constipated from birth, as I now am nursing her sis and she (2 mos old) and am now realizing what these straining movements are.
Sorry this is so long, please help. Thanks!

Hello,

Please talk about her temperament, behavior, fears, any odd mental traits, likes/dislikes, and food cravings/aversions in greater detail.

She is quite bright (we think) for her age. She learned to spell words at two yo and has learned to write her own name. She likes to watch movies (which we would really like to discontinue), but I have a newborn and it helps to give me a break with playing with her. She plays on her own well too. She loves board games, puzzles, and books. We practice Attachment Parenting and Gentle Discipline. She is a loving girl that warms up to people well. Fears, none that I can think of, but when daddy is home she loves being near him. When she is having problems and getting close to passing her stool she will hang on him, follow him around and cry a bit saying 'Daddy I need you!'. She does bite her nails at times (toe nails also). She has not learned to use the words me and I, but instead uses her name. Food cravings, she loves sweets and salty snacks both. No food aversions, just raw tomatoes, but I think that is normal for most kids. But really she will eat anything I make her, she eats a well balanced diet. I grew up on a farm growing and eating vegies and meats and so am used to preparing a good meal. Think popcorn helps with passing the bm, but we like to follow the blood type diets and she is to avoid corn.
Hope I've answered all your questions and thank you for your help.
