Case History for you [as a reminder]
I gave her the 30C lachesis 2 and half weeks ago in 3 doses. She mentioned since taking that she has felt less frustration with her students. This was a definite psychological change. She was more able to 'let go' of frustration/anger/disappointment sadness connected to her students being lazy.
My wife began to get the symptoms of her problem earlier today.
First she felt really tired, then the left side of her nose going up to behind her left eye began to become slightly painful, also she started blowing her nose a little. She was 90% certain she was going to get it.
As I asked you in an earlier reply, I gave her one dose of 200c lachesis. The symptoms did not come done immediately. After 45 minutes it started to come down, and within 3 hours it had 95% disappeared.
To date, if my wife get those symptoms on her left side she will always get a migraine.
To know if this is not luck, and the lachesis has really helped I want to wait out the remainder of her menstrual cycle [because she always get this problem the worst then]
I have a question. If the symptoms come up again as they did today, do I give her this one dose of 200c lachesis?
If not, what do i do if the pain starts again?
I am still worried that she hasnt really been cured but we just got lucky, because we have been disappointed so many times with other treatment approaches.

^^ This change is definitely pointing to Lachesis being the correct remedy. Well we had decided if there was any change, 200c was NOT to be given.
ONCE again 200c IS NOT to be given as there has been a change. I am a bit confused now, did you give the 200c dose or you did not ??

You have given her 200c dose now which will act longer than 30c, so please update me when it has been 2 weeks from the Lachesis 200c dose.
No further doses at all till that time.

As I write this at 7 in the morning my wife has been going through a strong migraine [with the symptoms I described in earlier posts] for the last 10 hours. She has been in very strong pain.
There is no material difference in this episode from others. It seems equally as painful with the same symptoms.
We waited for several hours to see if the problem would be more mild or different in nature as you instructed. However, it was not.
Therefore, after waiting for several hours, I gave her one dose of 200c lachesis. It had no effect on her problem.
In regard to mental changes before this problem occurred, I have not noticed anything significant. She was a little more happy, but this was because she had some hope that the lachesis had cured her. So there has been no material difference there as best as I could see.
Finally, the first time she got the migraine and took lachesis and it worked, we took the remedy much earlier in the episode. This time we waited until it had progressed quite some way. I don't know, but I think it is possibly easier to halt the progression of this problem if the remedy is given earlier in the course of the episode. This is just an observation. I don't know if it is true. Normally, for allopathic medicine and migraine, if the drug is taken earlier, it stops the progression more easily and rapidly.
Anyway, please advise us on whether she should get a higher potency lachesis or a different remedy.

My wife had her period yesterday.
It was different from normal.
Usually she gets strong pain in her womb area for about 3 hours where she has to lie down. She cant do anything. Then it is over.
This time the pain spread over a wider area in her body including the waist, breasts and her head. The pain was perhaps 75% of normal, however it lasted for the whole day rather than a few hours. On the whole, this was more difficult for my wife than normal because of how long the pain lasted and the fact it has spread more widely. The only thing positive was it was not quite as intense.
The amount of blood was the same as normal.

Wife says yes she has had this kind of pain spread throughout the body before. But usually she does not.
Normally, it is localized.
However, she has never had the symptoms for the whole day. It normally just lasts a couple of hours.

Hi Sameer,
About a week ago my wife took 1M lachesis
Last night my wife had a severe migraine. It was the same in strength as normal. Also, she did not notice any improvement in mental symptoms in the past week leading up to this migraine.
It seems as if the 1M lachesis has had no effect.
Please advise thanks.

It has been 11 days since she took the Arsenicum 30c.
Unfortunately, it didn't work.
As I write this she is suffering from a migraine - in fact while the normal length of time is 2 hours, this one has been going for 36 hours.
So it is worse than normal.

It was more emotional frustration and despair of why God wasn't helping her despite the fact she leads a good life.
This was something she would say when she was undergoing the migraine.
But, recently, she has been more accepting of it. This was beginning to change b4 we started treating with any homeopathic remedy. So, now, I would not describe this as a significant part of her symptom picture.
