On the facts you give one would think that the best remedy would be Ipecac. But Hep Sul could apply. One question - is coughing worse on breathing in OR out ?.

Which side of chest is pain, upper or lower, and how does she describe it. Does she like salt, salty things. If Sulphur was the last remedy used then I would think that Nux Vom 1m would fit in nicely .

Thank your for your prompt reply. The chest pain she fells is in the middle....
Sulpher is now seemed in-effective and today, she coughed all the day...
As you suggested i have given her Hepar Sulph 200 first dose ( an hr ago).
Should i give her Drosera 30 (3 time a Day) or simply wait for the Hepar Sulph results. | This thread continues beneath the following ad.

Don't disturb the action of the medicine,as long as the improvement continues.
Think of second dose, only when the situation starts worsening again.(which may or may not happen)

Dear Dr(s):
Now there is slight aggrevation...she is again having the same symptoms but very low intensity....My questions:
1. Should Hep Sulph 200 2nd dose be given?
2. what should be the other complementary remedy for her pain complaints in her head and legs?
(She is not a diabetic)
Please advise. | | |

Yes.Give her the second dose.
Regarding other complaints,we need more information.
For any complaint,to receive our attention, three things are necessary.
Location,sensation and modality.
The precise location.
Which part of the head aches? The back, the top,the forehead, the temples..You have to specify.
Legs..which part..again..Is it knee/thighs/foot/ankle/heels...
The sensation
What sort of pain?
Dull...severe...throbbing...stitching...which type?
Modality
What makes the pain better or worse?
Pressing the head..tieing it tightly with a cloth..better or worse lying down...etc
Legs..worse with walking..better with walking, thogh initially worse..better with hot water bath..or is it cold water bath..
Other than this we need to know, whether shw generally likes being warm..or does she like being in open air..or perhaps better in a closed room...etc..
The more information you give,(ofcourse has to be accurate.don't include doubutful ones),the easier a remedy can be decided.

Cough is quite controlled (Two doses of Hep Sulph 200 have been given. She is quite relaxed and happy with the treatment. The frequency of coughing fits has also been reduced significantly.
But pain in the various bady parts (as she told me that it is like "I was beatten" (her words). This issue needs attention.

Hi:
Here is the latest condition regarding mother’s illness. She is being given Hepar Sulph 200/week and Sanguinaria 30 twice a day. The coughing fits is being observed after two or three days…which are usually ended with vomiting.
Should I try another remedy?
May I use external breathing support i-e oxygen mask for her …?
Please advise | | |

By all means use a breathing support. Also try Nux vom 30. |
