Amazing power of homeo remedy
Helonias dioica:It was that of a lady who gave birth to a very large child,and suffered afterward from prolapsus uteri.I gave her several remedies without relieving her,so that at the end of three months she was still uncured.About this time she began to complain of tightness across the chest,with cough and some little bloody sputum>her mother had died of phthisis after giving birth to twins,so i feared serious lung affection.Phosphorus did no good;Nux did no good.I studied up the case more throughly.She told me that she felt as though there were a heavy weight over the chest on the sternum,and a feeling as though the chest had been gripped in a vise with the sore feeling which follows.This annoyed her when she awakened at night.These symptoms were symptoms which had been noticed only in the male provers of Helonias.Nevertheless i gave that drug,and it entirely removed both the chest symptoms and the prolapsus.

There is a rubric CONSCIOUS,of,the,uterus which contains Helonius as the prominent remedy.In case of prolapses of the uterus this rubric is oftenly applied when the patient has suffered the prolapse during delivery.It is this episode which makes the patient conscious of recurrence.
