After the use of Merc. Sol. , you will need one or two more meds to complete the cure process.
As you are new to homeopathy, just be advised that when there are indications of the presence of a miasm (which is so in your case)...the same has to be attended to first or else the other meds will not give successful results.
After you take Merc Sol., report the emerging (I repeat...the emerging symptoms) with in one week of taking the med. (
Report after 7 days of takign the med).
Then I will decide on the next med to be taken.
Unfortunately, I cannot teach you all homeopathy in one post. It also a pity that some articulate writers here claim great knowledge of homeopathy ...but (unfortunately) when it comes to analysing cases they are unable to apply the homeopathic principles.
And some know only ABC of homeopathy...they have not reached the 'KLM'....stage. To reach the 'XYZ' stage it takes a long time and only after one has dealt with many many cases.
However, I mean no offence to them....coz. a set of 24 homeopathic meds...known as the polycrests.... (one or two meds chosen out of them in a prudent way) can handle about 80 % of the cases that are posted here. Read the defination of 'polycrest' and you will understand.
It is the complex case (like yours) that needs a detailed analysis.

Oral ulcers not covered in arsenic alb. or chel.
Where there are oral ulcers, first mercurius is needed....then and only then any other med will work due to the strong presence of miasm.

What is a Polycrest:
Homeopathy has a great treasure of medicines but some of them are more commonly used. Such remedies are called 'Polycrest Remedies', 'Polycrest Medicines' or simply 'Polycrests' and generally range between 40 and 60 in number. There is no standard and final list of such remedies. Each practitioner makes his own list depending on the type of cases received and needs of his/her clinic. For example, if a practitioner gets more cases having stomach problems, he would keep the medicines that are more commonly used for stomach troubles and similarly if another practitioner receives more of chest related cases, his list of medicines would be different.
How to make your own list of polycrests
As you read about individual medicines, you would notice that homeopathic medicines are multipurpose and each of them covers wide range of symptoms. Polycrests particularly cover lots of symptoms that belong to various diseases. That is why homeopathy is capable of effectively treating most of the diseases. The point to note is that when a medicine is selected for a particular set of symptoms, it is not necessary that the person would have or should have all the symptoms indicated under that medicine. At times even key symptoms would only be considered but generally overall picture of the symptoms is considered to make the selection giving special importance to key symptoms. This rule is applied particularly in chronic cases. In acute cases, the methodology is somewhat different. However, each practitioner has own ways of doing it and maintains his own list of medicines.

When Hahnemann discovered homeopathy he had very good results from it but he couldn't understand why it didn't produce one hundred percent success. In his book 'Chronic Diseases' he discusses his theory that all disease has an underlying root, a morbific influence, a Miasm, which sometimes >>>>>>>> has to be addressed directly before cure can be achieved >>>>>>> with the usual homeopathic remedy.
He associated miasms with specific diseases that had dogged mankind throughout the ages. The first, the most fundamental and ubiquitous of these he called 'Psora': the itch. This was typified by Scabies, but relates to any condition that erupts on the skin and which specifically itches (there are skin eruptions which don't itch). Because scabies epitomised Psora he concluded that the homeopathic remedy to address Psora should be produced from scabies itself. Hence the homeopathic remedy to directly address Psora is a product of the scabies vesicle, and is known as 'Psorinum'. Psorinum is a nosode. It is unlikely that anyone is free from the miasmatic influence of Psora. It is considered as the most all-pervasive miasm of all the world over and the basis for the origination of disease. Its keyword is underfunction. Therefore any disease process typified by underfunction is said to be of the Psoric miasm
Other miasms Hahnemann discusses are the 'Sycotic' miasm (keyword overfunction) and the 'Leutic' miasm (keyword self-destructive). These original three presented by Hahnemann 200 years ago have been added to progressively since his time, the best known being the Tubercular Miasm (keyword restriction) and the Cancer miasm (keyword suppression).

Thank you so much for your detailed reply....
I have started taking Mercurius sol 30,....
I vl report after completion of 7 days....
One thing more that this problem is v chronic as i have been facing it for the last approx 4 years previously i thougt its due to the habit that i have but its been a year that i am avoiding the dirty habit (and its frequency) and now i actually want to get rid of it and want to be normal.
But after jaundice( with which i sufferd for more than 3 months) two years back has made the condition worse and also the change of place as i have sifted to hily for the last 4 years prior to that i was lving in a place where weather is not so cold even in winters but you know in hilly areas weather is colder than plain land and when i feel little cold on my feet, i have to make trips to toilet....
Also about oral ulcers and mouth dryness it happens v frequently
Plz consider this as well when in due to course you will prescribe me other medicine.
