Nervous Tick - Smiling uncontrollably in public situations. History of Social Anxiety...Help! Page 2 of 2

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
whoever the peope are recommending these herbs etc are full of $#&+!
Not that herbs cant be of some help with anxiety, but its clear you have no clue what your talking about.
You jump back and forth on this blog recommending random herbs with no rhyme or reason.
Your inconsistency gives your ignorance away.
Heck, one girl told you the first herb you recomended seemed to help and 5 minutes later your telling her to try something different!
You need to get a clue.
These people and I are fighting for our lives here - this uncontrollable smile is present every second of every day and its miserable beyond comprehension.
Take your herbs back to your country and run your scam somewhere else fool.

In my personal experience, Hyosyamaus 30 is good for uncontrollable laughter.

rohit,

Please take three doses of Belladonna 200 as follows and see how that affects in next 15 days (only 3 doses in 15 days).

day 1 morning
1st dose

day 1 evening
2nd dose

day 2 morning
3rd dose

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Hi everyone. I was the one who recommended ashwagandha. And I know exactly what I am talking about. In December 2010 I started smiling for no reason in public. It has ruined my life. People think I am crazy and weird. I know exactly how much it hurts. I tried a lot of things after that like cognitive behavioral therapy, hypnotherapy, homeopathy, ayurveda and even anti psychotic meds for a few months. But I found hypnotherapy and ashwagandha to be the most effective. And trust me when I say this I have come a long way from what I was in 2010 and 2011. My homeo doctor has tried many meds on me, nothing seems to work on me for a long time. Plus only a doctor can recommend effective homeo drugs. But I found the herb ashwagandha to be very effective. I took it for 1 whole year. Presently I am only on a homeopathy drug. But nothing has been able to completely wipe that awkward smile from my face...I guess its a long process. But trust youself and keep faith in God and never ever give up.

I appreciate the info on the ashwagandha.
question: If it worked, why arent you on it anymore?

I stopped it because I did not want to be dependent on any drug even if it is an Ayurvedic drug. Plus after 1 year the complete benefits of ashwagandha are seen. So I slowly tapered the dose and then stopped it completely. But all the benefits i had from it never went away.I have been trying other medicines after that like Bach flower remedies, etc. But everything just makes me feel better for a few days and then it goes away. But all these medicines have reduced the instances where I uncontrollably smile. Presently I am trying to rule out any health conditions which can cause this. God i hope it all works out. It has been 4 long years.
