My 3 year old son suffering from dry cough

Two weeks back my son had suffered from Fever, cold and cough. The fever and cold has got cured after consulting doctor. But the cough(dry Khasi) is still persisting. Day time he will rarely cough but at night once it starts he will be continuously coughing whole night. Please help with some medicine.

Give 3 doses of Nux Vomica 30c for a single day only. The dry cough after allopathic treatment responds excellently to Nux.
