Homeopathic Storage Boxes/cases

Could anyone please suggest where I can find Homeopathic Storage boxes/cases (wooden or polypropelene) in the US?

I live in the metro Detroit area, and would appreciate a list of Homeopathic Supply companies aroudn this area. Of course, online would be great too.

Thank you,
Kameshwari

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Your ideas are good, but sometimes it is easier. Call around to first aid companies. There are metal snap boxes that are available that are water resistant with rubber around like refrigerators. Sometimes you can buy empty ones. The ones I have hold 244 remedies. Last forever.

I then, over the years, took the larger bottles that most remedies come in and placed in 1 dram size that fits into these boxes.

There is someone I know that has been emailing India and getting remedies and supplies. I will ask her for the net sites for you to inquire. Blessings, Sabra

Sabra,
How long can you keep homeopathy remedies for? I don't see any expiry dates written in the remedies I got from the homeopath recently.

Remedies last forever unless in great heat. Has to be quite hot. I have a way of testing my remedies to see if still viable. I have had some for 40 years.

The manufactures place dates on bottles, probably because the AMA is interfering, and also to cause you to buy again. Same as when you are told to take the entire tube as one dose...it is all marketing for them...not you.

Don't know anything about Detroit. Go to google and type homeopathy information. A lot comes up. Try the same adding detroit as third word.
Same with first aid supplies.

You see, there are few companies left in the US that are homeopathic. Some are more expensive. Some refuse to sell small bottles.

ABC will have a very large selection.

Going to a company in person is practically unheard of. There is a company where I live, but again, mailing. Health stores are good, but limited in knowledge and number of remedies offered.

There are many so things to learn it is rather hard to absorb it all.

I cannot really advise you on potencies because there is so much discussion of the best way to give. My teachers had 30X and 200X for children. Now there are so many thoughts on this subject, I tell people to get what they can. I haven’t had any trouble with this over the years. Blessings, Sabra

I already have probably about 80 - 85 % of the remedies listed. I also just ordered a 36 remedy kit from ABC.

There is a store in Ann Arbor called Castle Remedies that sells all homeopathic remedies. That is where we make our purchases - can go there in person.

They have tinctures, liquid potencies, granules, pills etc. And, they do not sell by date/tube. You buy what, when and how much you want.

I just checked online, there's a place that sells empty kits too.

Thanks, so many mothers need this information. Does Castle Remedies have an email? If something cannot be from ABC, this will help.

Went to the site you listed. Dolisos has the stupidest bottles I have ever seen in my life! Dealing with them directly is a big problem.

Dealing with the brand from the site would probably be easier.

I ordered over 50 remedies a few years ago, in a certain size bottle as the salesperson told me and I received 5!! When I asked where the rest of the order was they acted like it was my fault. I finally got everything, but it took 8 months!

I keep looking for places to buy what I want, but many are not available. Once I spent three years looking and when a friend went to France I asked her to look there and this is how I got this particular remedy. Fun, Huh?

kganti,

i have been to castle remedies too!! nice little shop. they make some of their own remedies there.

maybe they can tell you where to purchase boxes?

i'll tell you what i did....

my mom gave me her mother's or grandmother old jewelry case. i have modified it a bit by removing some of the little shelves. it now has one large tray, with a divider, and two drawers below that hold remedy bottles. the upper tray houses two 50 bottle remedy boxes. (small sized)

anyway, it's conveniant and is a beautiful walnut case as well. plus, it was a "family heirloom" always worth holding onto.

good luck in your search!

Thank Sabra and kppy.

I'll check with Castle Remedies and see if they can suggest places. I've also asked my parents-in-law to bring a box or two when they visit us from India.

I'll probably get one of those neat little boxes and modify it myself.
