Unless you are thorough with the basics, thorough with the philosophy, you can't really treat complex cases with homeopathy.
With your half baked knowledge, you may abort a few colds and coughs,and as I keep repeating no great skills/knowldge is required to treat problems upto the second level.
You can do that if you read some roadside books. However, people like you can never handle problems from the fourth level.
Don't ask me what are those levels.:-)
It is only posible by people like us who have thorough grounding in the philosophy of homeopathy.
I have much more to learn in homeopathy, but I knew I am on the right track and I will be able to treat even the most complex problems in the near future.
Even with the limited knowledge I have now, I have treated many complex problems succesfully. You may not know about them, because such problems can never be treated via online forums.
That is the reason you find me responding to querys related to acute problems only, and the record I have is fairly good.
It is good that the visitors are getting exposed to the basic requirements of a good prescriber, and are coming to know who stands where.

I really think you all came here in an effort to help people, with the noblest of intentions, and yet this is where we end up.
To clarify, my role here is to uphold the forum rules, not to further ABC's mission of promoting single remedy homeopathy. That mission statement actually predates the forum.
However, the forum is an open forum, and any post which does not violate the forum rules gets to stay. Posts and posters which don't, have no place here.
Some posters here (such as Alexthink) have given advice to many, with none of it being homeopathic at all, but I'm sure you'll all agree his posts are useful.
In my opinion, allowing counterpoints and discussion ought to help increase everyone's knowledge, as I (perhaps mistakenly) thought all here had the maturity to state their truth quietly and clearly with no need for ad hominum attacks. Facts stand on their own. If someone suggests a remedy and the patient tries it, and it works, surely that's enough. There is no need to then start mudslinging.
The favouritism word pops up every so often, and I think over the years, I've been accused of favouritism to just about everybody, which probably proves there's no such thing.
There was a time when Murthy and I were in regular correspondence as he was suspended frequently, however, it is now a long time since his posts have violated any rules.
If you want to not get suspended, all you need to do is follow the forum rules. For most on here, that simply means phrasing your responses a little more diplomatically. It's that simple. Please try it.

Yes Gavini...one might glorify himself as much as he wants to....but it is better that people say good things about you....rather than you yourself glorifying your own self.
This thread started with the comments of of a third person....'Pat2006'...and she left you out of her congratulatory note !!
That should be the end of this controversy for most people including me.
You might continue to write pages in your own defence after this .....bothers nobody....as hardly anyone is going to read it.

Take Simon's advice and concentrate on what you feel you are best at.
Your best may still be mediocre to the trained eye, and don't get peeved if someone says it.
Try to improve your knowledge in homeopathy.

People who want my advice come here or e-mail me directly or to some who have my phone number call me directly.
I receive many requests to give my phone number...but I give only to a very very few.
There are many who e-mail me to give them homeopathic advice and ask me to quote a fee.
So I don't need your endorsement regarding the level of my capability and acceptability from others.
I donot charge a fee from anyone at all...coz I do this work and place it at the feet of Sai Baba. (Yes you don't believe in God or Sai Baba...that is different matter).

Perhaps you are not aware that all browsers have a feature to increase/decrease the font size to your convenience.
The default font size at Hpathy is same as here, unless the posters prefer a different font size.
I don't like to discuss Hpathy here, but since you rised the issue, a clarification is in order.

Murthy....I am a Oracle Certified professional...so I know how to increase the font size on computers and much more. But precious time is lost doing all that....besides the best is still small.

at hpathy.com is it just the font is petty or it is a meeting place of just petty minded people. I mean with petty minded people with the people who have small, closed and fixed mind.
It is not just the matter of font there, it breaches the objective of girilal or kuldeep or Pankaj. That site does not allow people to interact with patient.
Patients like people like Joe De Livera, who attends patient, who never abandons patient, who never tells patient to get lost or go to Classical-Professional-Homeopath, who walks with patient, who talks with the patient. Patient finds a friend, finds someone who is listening to him.
Patient comes to the forum because he is lonely, he wants attention, he wants friends, he wants to participate in his own treatment, he wants to be listened.
Now people like Joe De Livera makes long posts, patient realizes that he/she is taken care, he/she got a new friend, some one in the world is listening to him/her.
Homeopathy is revolving around mental symptoms. Patient is lonely so he/she is depressed, so he/she is sick, so the sickness matches (may) to one in two thousand medicines. So Kent says mental symptoms are supreme. Joe De Livera is takign care of the patient, but not itemizing mental symptoms.
So why people make posts: Attn: Joe De Livera. Because they want attention, he is the one who will give them attention.
And then if he gives them a piece of dirt, patient will cure. I bet my life that patient will cure.
That's why I have highest regard for Joe De Livera but duds do not realize it.
