I am unable to figure ou the cause. Burning pain and itching occasionally, worse at night. I apply calendula ointment which gives very slight relief.

I have taken SULPHUR 200C one dose every day morning empty stomach for 3 days. This morning I find much greater spread of rashes on outer side of my left buttock. Earlier itching was occasional but now it itches more frequently with burning pain. Please advise further treatment.

As advised, I have taken no further medicine. Now, in those areas, rough leathery surfaces have developed which are quite sore, itchy and even painful on lying down. I resist temptation to scratch so as to avoid causing harm.
Please advise further remedy.

I had forgotten to add that the surounding area has become crimson in colour and in the affected area some leathery grey crusts are formed. Right buttock has much less of the problem, though has similar appearance and sensations. I do not find any significant difference with cold or hot for the present.

As advised, I have taken three doses of Graphites 200. Ever since starting this remedy, the affection has spread in a larger area expecially on left buttock. Also, this morning I found my under clothes stained with some kind of oozings in that area. Soreness continues.
Yesterday, in the evening I consulted a dermatologist. He diagnosed it as fungal infection and prescribed a couple of oral medicines and a local application. I have not started taking this presciption so far bnecos I want to see results of your treatment. May be I could use local application of the ointment prescibed by the allopath.
Please advise.
