skin tag
I have skin tags on my arm, under arm, neck and chest. Some appear to be flat and others raised skin that is gray or brown in color. How can I get rid of them. I heard that blood root cream helps but have not tried it since it is hard to find. What can I do to get rid of them.MyCenter on 2007-10-20

Dear Hasnat,
I am a 45 female.
I have gotten the skin tags after my children were born and have seen more appear arround my neck and chest within the past few years.
Some of them do appear to look like warts.
Both of my parents do have some skin tags around their necks also.
Overall my physical and mental health is normal other than being treated for pain in my knees and taking Rhus Tox and Arnica Montana.
I am very happy that you have successfully treated other patients and am anxious to get rid of my warts and sking tags as well.

Dear Dr. Hasnat,
Yes, I am still using rhus tox & arnica for pain in my knees due to a fall that I had a few years ago. Crushed cartalige under my knee cap. Experiencing pain in both knees when weather changes and difficulty going up and down stairs, especially in high heals.
My skin is normal, no hairs but my hormones, well I'm premenapausal. I started at age 39 and haven't had any signs of a period for months.
My stomach issues are being handled by drinking wheat grass 2 oz. twice a day and changing my diet.
Physically I have not been able to exercise the way I want to due to my knee pain but will be going for stem cell treatments in December. Mentally, I feel that I am a stable person and do from time to time get upset and sad but I know that this is due to a hormonal change during these times.
My skin tags are very small but annoying. I would say that some are the size of a pin head and some are smaller. I have notices recently that I have been getting cauliflower like growths on my breasts but are also small, the size of a pin head.
The skin tags around my neck sometimes dry and fall off, however, the cauliflower ones are not going away.
No bleeding, smell, burning, or redness of the tags or any abnormalities. I do have red freckel spots on my chest also in some areas and think that it may be rosasia.
