Mom stopped taking her heart medications

Hi!
It might be not too much of homeopathic question but I want your opinion anyway.
My Mom (62 y/old) had a massive heart attack and got angioplasty on 1 arthery in Feb,2006.
She was prescribed Coreg, Zocor, Lisinopril and Plavix for life.
She use to take it for about 6 month and then she stopped and I did not know until a ferw days ago she said she had not been taking her medications for almost a year now because she thinks it is all just a chalk and does nothing to people.
She is working full time and she is smoking and drinking (in moderations) and she looks really good. Everyone thinks she looks much better then before hospital.
We also went for a check up 2 month ago and her Doctor cardiologist said she was doing great!
What should I do? Call her doctor? I am so stunned after her confession and I am affraid she can die...
Any ideas?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Her cardiologist said she was doing fine - that is al that matters.

If you doubt the dr now when he is saying she's fine why you didn't doubt him when he prescribed those drugs?
she did.
Just forget about those drugs and better do something to make her quit smoking!
