My attention was drawn to Maya's post and I hope that she sees this post.
I believe that Arnica 30c should help her Reynaud's Syndrome and also her Diabetes.
I have a few patients who were chronic cases of Cellulitis and one of them had been in hospital 3 times to cure the infection which was done with the most powerful antibiotice which left her more dead than alive.
I started her on Arnica 30 twice daily and she did not have any recurrence of her problem for 2 years.
Arnica relaxes the body and eases the flow of blood in some way I cannot understand . This extra blood flow can I believe, help Maya as her Reynaud's is caused by lack of bloow flow to the affected region which Arnica can hopefully help to re-establish.
Arnica is now in use to help both Type I and II Diabetics as it helps to reduce the dose of units of Insulin or the tablets that are used daily.
I do hope that Maya will read this post.

Dear Joe,
I used to take Arnica 30 in dry dose daily at bedtime. Inspite of that my blood sugar more than doubled to 360. It seems that now I must try the wet dose as the dry didnt help me. Am waiting for mu cough to abate. It is very deep from a tickle in my bronchii, worse talking, laughing and even a deep breath starts me. I may retch too though no vomitting. A friend suggested Phosphorous and after going through Kents Repertory a started taking 3 doses a day with no help. Today is the third day and now I think I will take Pankaj's suggestion of Lycopus. Have got it in 30. Will start tomorrow twice daily.

I'm glad you responded as it will be a challenge to verify if Arnica can also help you as you cannot be considered a normal patient after your accident which caused you so much pain and distress.
I hope you will not abandon the medication for diabetes that your consultants have give you so far as the tablets must be taken by you perhaps for life. It is just that I have discovered that Arnica 30c does help to bring down the BS level especially in the case of Type I where is usually brings the BS to normal within a few hours and then tends to slowly rise when it has to be controlled by a fine balancing act with the Insulin when the dose is so adjusted to keep the sugar at optimum levels.
You state that you have already used Arnica 30c with no positive response. If you have taken only one dose per day you are advised to increase it to 3 doses per day with the standard tablets which you may discover bring the BS level to low and you can then reduce your tablets and use them in conjunction with the Arnica 30c in the wet dose always.
I note that you are now suffering from a wet cough and you may consider the following remedies which you may take in the dry dose and evaluated for the most effective response if the other remedies are seen to be ineffective.
If wet and white:
Hepar Sulph 30c
Thuja 30
If wet and yellow:
Pulsatilla 30 and Kali Sulph 6x
Steam inhalation is also recommended as this will soften the phlegm and you can spit it out.
If you catch coughs frequently you are advised to keep Bell 30 handy and use it ASAP at the first signs of a tickle in your throat which can lead to a major infection later.
Please confirm that you do not smoke.

Yes none of us smoke at home so passive smoking is not a problem. I dont drink too. Hepar was suggested to me by my physician but it didnt help at all. Actually my cough infection goes on for days. Antibiotics do help to control the intensity but then I have to resort to homeopathy to control it. My cough is never from my throat but always from the bronchii. As I was given Bryonia 1M a month or so ago I could not take it recently. Let me see if Pankaj's suggestion of Lycopus helps. the phlegm is negligible and colorless or tinged with grey dust. Before Kali Carb 30 at bedtime would help as I could not lie down with coughing. My medicines would be Phytolacca 30 (for loss of voice) then kali carb for bad cough at bedtime. This time the whole cycle was different. I checked on Remedy finder and was suggested Lachesis. I took a single dose in 200 and that helped in cough in bed but the rest is still there.
I cough very deeply and may retch too. Worse laughing, breathing deeply and even talking at times.

I believe that you should try this simple physiotherapy.
Lie face down across your bed with some pillows under your chest to make your head which is now facing the floor over the edge.
Get someone to tap the back of your chest gently and observe the phlegm that you will spit out. You can expect cupfuls
You should inhale steam from an open kettle on the boil before this procedure as this will render the phlegm more liquid.
The idea is to get as much of the phlegm out as possible and this should I hope help your cough.

Pankaj, Lachesis has always helped me. I used to take it in 200 around once a month which has decreased a lot now. It helps in my numbness in feet which is mostly in bed. This time i checked in the Rmedy Finder in ABC and found that it was the medicine which matched most. I took a single dose. The cough in bed stopped. But I remember- around 14 years ago I suffered from severe leg ulcers which could not be diagnosed. Then my Sir used to give this. It became so that I would take it without asking as it used to dry up those ulcers. Then once i felt a tingling in the middle of my tongue and it felt like a snakes. I immediately went to him and he gave me a single dose of some medicine which stopped it in a few minutes and admonished me for taking so much. Since his death I do take it but only when absolutely needed and never more than a single dose in a month. My last dose was 2 weeks back which I took only after 6-8 months. Lachesis also helps my water retention in the body.

Joe, I took the steam today but no mucous came out. I dont have congestion, maybe thats the reason. Will keep it up.

Take another dose of Lachesis 200 tomorrow morning. Skip Lycopus for 24 hours from then.
Resume again.
From day after also take Natrum Sulph 6X ...four times day...this is to reduce water retention.

Thanks Pankaj. Have not been able to buy Lycopus. Shall get it tomorrow. Will take the Lachesis tomorrow morning.
Joe, I do not need Physiotherapy. Thanks for the suggestion. I am very stiff in my right as the pain is radiating from my liver region to my big toe. Worse in bed. the problem seems to be on the liver where I had gland TB for quite a few years before it was diagnosed in 1993.

Yes Pankaj. I was prescribed Bacillinum 1M and also Tubercullinum Bov. in different potencies durung the course of years till 1999 Jan. Then recently in April I was again prescribed Bacillinum 1M by the new homeopath I found here in Calcutta.That did not help me at all. So am still sufferig from cough.

Take a sealed bottle of Bacillinum 1M of Willmar Schwabe India (WSI) or Willmar Schwabe Germany....and take a dose from there ....a week after you take Lachesis.
Sometimes ...it matters where you bought the med from.

Dear Pankaj took the lachesis. The shop from where i bought the Bacillinum is a very reputed shop in Calcutta and I had bought a single dose only in powder.
I had taken the Bacillinum in the 4th week of April. Can I take it again so soon. Will buy the Bacillinum when I go to buy Lycopus today.

Yes...take Bacillinm...one dose 1M potency..after a week of taking Lachesis.
But don't get the powder dose made...get a sealed bottle of liquid. You can take the smallest packing. No matter how good the shop....it is difficult to control ( for them ) the quality of the med being handed over....if it is an open dispensation.

Pankaj, have got the Lycopus and Bacillinum. Have started taking Lycopus 10 drops thrice with Nat Sulph 6x 4 times. Will report after a week.

Pankaj I took Bacillinum on Wednesday morning. Ther was some aggravation on that day only. The next day I noted that my irritation has lessened. Though the cough has not gone, the intensity is less as is the frequency. Now there is some congestion with the expectoration having dust spots.
One thing i seem to have forgotten before. In 1997 or so my uncle was dying and he lived in Howrah. My mother, husband and myself usd to go and visit him about every sunday. It was winter and the car ac also was not working. Though all the windows were wound up, the driver's had to be kept open because of the traffic. I used to sit behind the driver. The road was very bad (it still is I understand) and a lot of dust came up. Then being a highway from the station, there were a lot of black smoke belching trucks on the road. All this dust went into my lungs. This exposure went on for about 3 months then my uncle died. It is after this only my cough problem started. I always feel some dust in the air passages whenever I have cough which is around twice a year. Can any mdicine help here. My late Sir was concentrating more on my other problems, so didnt take this seriously.

Bacillinum ...works for a long time ..may be 20 days ....it varies from person to person...so let us keep reviewing things every week.

Pankaj, as far as I know there has been no case of TB in the family, Tes I had gland TB on my liver for a long time. Once diagnosd cured within a year. But YES isnt diabetes a TB derivative. My grandfather had it. An aunt has it and now me. This is 3 cases in a family of 35 members in 2 generations. The next generation too has no diabetes.
