Athlete's Foot

Is there any remedy for recuring foot fungus? I can almost eliminate it with antifungal creams and powders but it just keeps coming back. I would like to find a real cure/Treatment which will keep it away. Any suggestions?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
it keeps coming back because it be being suppressed with creams. I used thuja and it worked on my peeling feet and toes from fungal infection after showering at new gym without sandles.

This is going to sound extremely GROSS, but it works....URINE, is sterile, until it leaves the body. If you will unrinate on your feet in the shower daily, your athletes feet will be cured! No more messy creams or powders in this family. Who's going to know unless you tell them? I hope this works for you as well as it has for over 100 years in my family!

Thanks for the very helpful suggestions. I have Thuja 30c and Graphites 30c. I have used Graphites to heal Eczema on my hands with good results. The Athlete's foot remained. My types doesn't itch unless I leave it untreated (with topicals) for some time. Would it be ok to mix remedies to try to confront it on many fronts, so to speak? I have read that sulphur and Sepia are also good.

I do not directly mix remedies, but have often taken more than one at a time. When I do this, I take the remedies 15 minutes apart from each other.

Black walnut tincture has done miracles for me. Use mother tincture.

When severe, garlic sliced and put between your toes (if that's where it is), keeping your feet wrapped up in a pair of socks overnight for 3 days has helped me. Make sure to take showers in the morning and dry off the space in between your toes thoroughly. I would then apply black walnut tincture afterwards to take care of the rest for another three days.

Good luck!

Intense itching between the joining skin of fingers and toes will go away with SELENIUM 30 C four times a day.

To start , you can take one dose of 1M potency of Selenium, after a gap of one day start with the 30C potency >>> four times a day.

Take SULPHUR 200C one dose every week as an inter current remedy.

If it heals for you ( it should! ), please give the feed back for the benefit of the other visitors to the Message Board.

Rubbing alcohol works wonders on athlete's foot. Yes, plain old rubbing alcohol. You can buy a bottle for around $1 almost anywhere, such as drug stores or discount stores.

Buy some cotton balls, and soak the cotton ball about half way with the rubbing alcohol. Apply it to all of the areas of the foot with the fungus. Do this once or twice a day. In a short amount of time (2-4 days for me) the athlete's foot will be gone.

I fought this problem for years with the useless creams. After using the rubbing alcohol, I have been athlete's foot free for over eight months.

I visited West Africa and came back with a wonderful foot fungus! As a soap maker I have had some experience with herbs and plants so used neem oil on my feet. The results were dramatic and kept my feet fungi-free for a month before slight symptoms reappeared but another application of neem oil put it off again.

Many plants have anti-fungal properties to protect themselves against fungi, particularly in the tropics. As well as neem oil there is tea tree, thymes, oregano, lavender, lemon and quite a few others. Essential oils should always be diluted first though.

Yes Neem is full of chlorophyl and has great anti - fungi properties.

In India, ancient tradition is to use neem sticks for brushing teeth and gums to keep them healthy....does wonders.
