Question about Cal Carb

I have a 5 yr old daughter that is classic Cal Carb I have never seen a remedy match someone as well as hers does.
She has had 30c three times in about a months time, I see some of her old symptoms comming back, so I want to now give her 200c. Her Dr. is out of town and I don't know if I should....would there be any harm in it? I hope someone replies to me soon.....thank Margaret

single dose (3 pellets) "only" calc -c 200c ---and observe response ----no other medicines--no repitition at all until case is fully reaccessed...

let me clarify--give calc -c 200c ---ONLY if absolutely no new symptoms AT ALL have occured since calc-c 30c....

My experience is that Calcarea Carb. acts in 200c and higher potencies.

Lower potencies do not do a major job.

This is one med not to be repeated in a hurry....be careful!

Thanks for responding... I do not see any new symptoms.....her swollen tummy is back,her tummy is distended and hard, it is also very tender, swollen glands,she is not happy about anything, she is re-calling old grivinces, her exzema has flared up, she wants large portions of food, her face is swollen or bloated, she has a great thirst for cold water, She hates to take a bath. She is waking up at night from bad dreams..........

All of these symptoms went away for about 5 days after she first took cal carb and now its like the remedy wore off.
Why is cal carb a remedy that should not be taken too often or too much? Margaret

calc--deep--slow acting remedy-----higher vitalities--bear calc repetition better than worn out constitutions...

Thank you for responding.
I don't really understand what you mean by "higher vitalities bear calc repetition better than worn out constitutions". I don't really understatnd remedy dosages, I see that some people take several remedies at a time and that some people take them daily. why is this the case? Thanks Margaret

single dose -single remedy is methology i follow --as described in organon--book by hahnemann founder of homoeopathy(as a science/healing art)---manditory you read if doing self prescribing...

John's way is one of the ways in treating patients.

Other homeopaths are using different ways.

John's way is termed as "Classical Homeopathy".

Both sides have successes to report.

Dear mabc

Similar remedy,single dose,minimum dose is proper homeopathy.This is "the way",if you want to get cured.

If you want fast relief,but not intersred in cure,there are many other methods,of which allopathy is also one.

In the past 7 years "single" dose is all I have know about, but when I started reading this forum I saw some take multiple remedies and doses........so I have been wondering about what is the "right" way to do it. I also have used only constitutional in the past so I am just learning that you can take one for lets say back ache and another one for night sweats........I would think that if you took too many dif remedies that it would be hard to figure out if a symptom was from another remedy or if it was part of your constitutional??....I hope you respond back..I really want to learn more.

By the way I am getting some calc carb 200c today for my daughter.....I am excited to see what will happen. Thanks, Margaret

best you read "organon of medicine 6th edition" by samuel hahnemann

and you will find --if truth be known --many that prescribe here have not even made a sincere study of this book --as it is the basis for homoeopathy--then expand from there---

I did not mean to be so nosey.

Also I wanting to know about when you are trying to find a remedy for someone, do you think that the mental symptoms or the physical symptons are most important?

use physical validatable symptoms/modalities/causations/locations/concomitants and mentals as only confirmation---less value on mentals due to fact --of our own predjudice when it come to evaluating mental symptomology....unbiased observor is main task of homoeopath when case taking...

no --i do not know the dr you mention..i am in north eastern pennsylvania usa---
