Sabra looking into this tiny boy's eczema i think my symptoms of eczema almost matches with his.

Eczema since 5 years.
Eczema on ankle and elbow joint and behind the calves.
These two portions according to a doctor with less blood ciruclation. Quite unusual, he says.

Worse in Cold
Scratch until it bleeds

Eczema seems to expand or enlarge to the adjoining areas.

I would like to share with all of you who have contributed on this Forum to help Peace with her 6 year old son who is suffering from Eczema the case of a cure of Eczema which I have been able to achieve in the case of a 68 year old man who had been suffering from chronic Eczema for over 6 years. This patient had been prescribed and had used virtually every drug known in the Pharmacopea for Eczema with no permanent relief. He had then consulted Ayurvedic physicians and he had obtained some relief but this was not permanent.

When I saw him about 6 weeks ago, both his legs were one mass of weeping Eczema which he had to cover with loose bandages to keep his trouser legs from irritating the lesions. He was unable to stand for over 10 minutes at a time as his ankles would swell up with painful results. Walking was also very restricted. He reported relief in 3 days after he started on my treatment, when the lesions dried up and the scratching stopped and they dried up in a week. He is now fully cured.

The remedy that I used is Arnica 6c, Dose 2 balls taken twice daily.

I do not know if Peace's son can have any relief by using this same remedy but since many remedies have been used which were recommended by other Homeopaths who are more experienced than me which have not helped with this case, may I suggest that she tries Arnica 6c that I used to cure this problem ? In any event I do not think that if it is used, any aggravation can result.

I would like to add that I have not come across the use of Arnica 6c in any Repertory or other text that I have. I only used it on an experimental basis in this case of chronic Eczema as I had been successful in helping another 77 year old lady who was having recurrent bouts of Cellulitis which her doctors had to treat with powerful antibiotics for about a year including Augmentine and Steroids which caused other problems for her. The infection would react favourably to the treatment but would return within about 2 months after they were stopped and this cycle was repeated 4 times last year. I gave her the same remedy, Arnica 6c and she is now completely cured. I have recommended that she takes just 2 balls of Arnica 6c every night as it also helps her to sleep soundly while providing what perhaps can be called prophylactic cover to prevent infection of the fat in her legs in the future.

I believe that the Arnica works by promoting the flow of blood in the capillaries under the skin, thereby permitting the skin to recover and to overcome the causative factors for the eczema.

I really do not know if Arnica 200c will work as well as the Arnica 6c that I used.

As I indicated in my last post, I did not know if my experimental use of Arnica 6c could work for Eczema but since I had used it successfully in the case of the 77 year old to cure her Cellulitis, I thought that it could help the Eczema as the lesions of the Cellulitis and the Eczema were similar although the causes of both ailments were different. The result of my experiment was exciting to me and to others who saw the result as the patient is now completely cured and is back at his work as a floral artist which he had been compelled to stop for over a year.

I would prefer that you do not use the higher potency as there could be some aggravation and we should try not to unnecessarily cause your son any more discomfort as he has suffered enough up to now. It is also possible that if you use the 200c, the 6c may not be effective later and this can mean that the therapy may not work at all. I believe that you will have to use the 6c for many months for the foreseeable future as it will keep the blood supply freely flowing under the skin which should in turn keep the Eczema at bay.

I would suggest that you get the Arnica 6c from your nearest Homeopathic Pharmacy or Health Food store as soon as possible as I am confident that this therapy should work for your son as it has done in the cases that I treated successfully.

I believe that since your son has been given Homeopathic remedies which may have given only partial relief, that it may be worth while your waiting for the 6c balls to give them to him as soon as you get them.

I also do not know what the dose should be in liquid form as I only use 3mm ¯ lactose balls which I activate with the remedy which is supplied by my Pharmacy in ethanol. I use just 6 drops of the liquid to activate about 200 balls in a little glass bottle and I use 2 balls for a dose taken twice daily.

I have not read Pankaj's post but I did have another case of a dramatic loss of weight of a 33 year old who tipped the scales at 120kg who had reduced his weight by 15kg in about 3 weeks.

He had taken Nat Phos 6x and if you like to take this remedy you can see if it can also help you. Dose 2 tablets taken twice daily after meals.

I am glad that you will wait for the Arnica 6c for your boy as this remedy has cured at least one person and the chances are that it can cure your son.

I note that Homeopathic remedies are not freely available where you live and I would like to know where you are located.

I mentioned this weight loss phenomenon to two of my friends who contribute regularly to this forum by email, including Pankaj and he mentioned this in his post to which you referred. I did not know about his post till you mentioned about it as this discovery of mine is only a few weeks old and requires some usage by people who are overweight before we can use it as a remedy to help achieve loss of weight.

I discovered this loss of weight quite accidentally as I had given the Nat Phos 6x to a friend of mine who wanted a remedy to help a number of her students as many of them had complained of lack of appetite, flatulance and acidity after meals. Nat Phos 6x is the ultimate remedy for this problem and she had also given it to a relative who was obese and weighed over 120kg. The dose that he took was 2 tablets twice daily and it seemed to have started the gradual shedding of his weight which he reported at 15 kg in just over 3 weeks. He has also started on a regular exercise regimen and has actively cut out many items of food which he knew were responsible for his obesity.

I do not know if this same remedy can help others but it can safely be used by anyone who is over weight and the loss of weight, if any, can be recorded.
The dosage may be safely increased to a maximum of 4 tablets taken 3 times daily.

The use of Arnica 6 for Eczema is another of my 'discoveries' and I do hope that it will also help your son to recover from his ailment. You will observe that with the very first dose that you use at night, he will sleep very soundly and as this remedy takes effect throughout his body by relaxing the capillaries, and increasing the flow of blood to those under the skin, his eczema will gradually fade away. As I mentioned in an earlier post, it is possible that he may have to take it for a some time in the future as I observed that the first person whom I cured with this remedy had a new lesion starting within 10 days after he stopped taking the Arnica 6. This soon cleared up within a few days after he started on the Arnica again.

I am also considering using another remedy, Sulphur 6c together with the Arnica 6c for my first patient but I will not recommend this for your son just now. Sulphur is deep acting and can perhaps help to achieve a permanent cure when the patient can stop all medication.

Please keep me informed of his progress after you start the therapy.

I was hoping that others would have replied your post about your son's problem and it is possible that he has ADHD but I may be wrong in this diagnosis.

I would like to treat his eczema first as soon as you get the Arnica 6 and it is possible that his other problem can also be resolved if the Arnica helps in curing the eczema.

After reading your latest post I feel that my diagnosis was incorrect as I had already mentioned in my post.

If I were you, I would not worry about his problem as he is bound to grow out of it. Don't push him but let him grow out of it himself at his own pace. You can try distracting him to another subject, if he gets frustrated and upset.

If we can cure his Eczema, I feel confident that he will be able to concentrate on other matters and there is a very good chance that his problem will resolve itself.

I agree with Pankaj's remedy choice of Alumina. Even though the 200c potency appeared to not work, I think this is the correct remedy.
My partner had pretty much the same symptoms as your son does and after many tries with all types of remedies responded very well to Alumina 12c. It took 3 weeks to see an improvement. With this remedy it tends to take around 3 -4weeks to see the skin healing. He had eczema that was worse at nighttime and in bed but especially worse in Winter. He'd scratch it till it bled. One unusual thing was he never perspired and that is a keynote in the remedy Alumina. I read your son doesn't either. Wearing jeans always aggravated his skin, had bad canker sores/ ulcers in his mouth. Also had dry hair - bad dandruff.
I looked up some rubrics to support my choice of Alumina and here are some:
There is a "dryness" with this remedy - dry skin, dry cough. Worse Winter, Distorted nails, dandruff, constipation is a big one with this remedy, absolute aversion to potatoes, swollen lymph glands, crys involuntry, intolorable itching in bed, falling out of hair, ulcers in mouth, forgeting things.

I had my partner on a 12c potency twice a day for three days then once a day for about 3 weeks - then I started to see improvement so he stopped the remedy immediately.

Sorry for my ignorance, but is Arnica the same thing as Arnica Montana? I see that you recommend its use a lot for both eczema and chalazions/other eye problems, both of which I suffer from. I bought Arnica Montana 30c; what dosage would you recommend for a mild case of eczema/rosacea on the face and multiple/reoccurrent chalazions for a 28-year-old female? Thank you!

The Arnica that I use and recommend is Arnica Montana. I have used and recommended it for many ailments many of which are not listed in the Homeopathic Texts and am amazed as to how this remedy can be used successfully for so many.

For Eczema I have found that Arnica 6c is the remedy. Dose 2 balls taken under the tongue 3 times daily. This dose can be reduced when improvement is noticed to twice daily.

For Chalazions use Arnica 30c. Dose as above till they disappear in about a week and then change over to Arnica 6c to be taken every night before sleep. You will also find that the Arnica also ensures deep sleep.

Please note that all homeopathic remedies are best taken under the tongue. No coffee and cola drinks may be used as they nertralize the remedy.

I have recommended its use to many of my friends in my age group (75) and they have all reported that they feel much better in health and are more vitally alive as many of their aches and pains disappeared within a few days of starting on this remedy. They have also reported that their blood pressure has dropped by about 10mm, and that their urinary control has also been helped. I believe that it acts by dilating the blood vessels, including the capillaries under the skin, which may be the reason why it cured the chronic eczema case in about 5 days and also another case of recurrent Cellulitis in a 77 year old lady for which she was on strong antibiotics.

There are many other ailments for which I have used Arnica but the chronic Eczema case that I listed was the most significant cure that I have achieved as he was desperate when I first saw him after medication from doctors for 6 years and subsequently from Ayurvedic physicians later. They only made a bad situation worse which compelled him to stay in bed with his legs uplifted for months on end. He is now fully recovered and back in his profession from which he had to retire 2 years ago. He has however to take 2 balls twice daily as otherwise his eczema breaks out in about 10 days after the withdrawal of the remedy. He is fortunate that I have stocks of the remedy which I give him free of charge as with all other remedies that I give whoever comes to me for assistance.

If you do decide to use Arnica for your problems please keep me advised with your progress.

I would like to continue this case if someone is willing to continue to help me son. I am peace I just had to change names.
He has been emotional for the last couple of weeks, is brought to tears easily and is very dark under the eyes. This afternoon he was blue under the eyes. I asked if he was tired, he says no. I asked if he is going bathroom okay and he says yes. I asked if everyone was going good at school and he says yes. I don't know what is going on.
I have been told that the darkness under the eyes is a show of liver stress.
He always had that when he was under two years old (he is now 7) when he had an egg alergy, was sensitive to milk products, had eczema, and was very constipated (once a week - two weeks, very hard). The egg alergy and milk senstivity have been cured by seeing a homeopath but he still has the eczema on the legs and I don't think he has a bowel movement each day. His eczema is much better since taking Pankja's advice. He is not a good at communicated his thoughts and feelings and he doesn't want to share personal facts about himself, even to me or his daddy. He misses his daddy a lot (truck driver) and desires more male companionship (has two sisters and mom at home).
I am thinking Bryonia, what is your thoughts?

You say the eczema has been better from pankja's advice, from what? -graphites or alumina.

He improved from the Graphities and I didn't pay much attention to the response from Alumina because then I got involved with trying the Arnica.
Would go recommend going back to Graphities or Alumina?

If his skin is generally dry, go for Graphites for one year. Try not to have any gap.

Kuldeep - you said not to have any gaps, what do you mean by that?
How do you recommend I give it to him?

Also: his eczema waries, in the winter it is dry and in the summer it is moist (we have very dry winters and very humid summers).
