Eyes

Objective.

The eyes are prominent and painful, as after weeping,

Nightly agglutination of the eyes, with weakness during the day,

Dim, weak, sunken eyes (after two days),

Eyes dim,

Subjective.

Pain in the eyes, as from rubbing with a woollen cloth, removed by moving the lids,

Pressure in the eyes,

Pressure in the left eye, as from a stye on the lid,

Jerking in the eyes,

Twitching in left eye, lasting a week,

Several sharp, dartings in the globe of the right eye (twenty-first day),

Burning sticking in the right eye, toward the outer canthus,

Burning in the eyes,

Biting in the eyes, as after rubbing with a woollen cloth,

Eyes sore, and, as it were, excoriated by rubbing.

Pressure in lids and canthi.

Burning lancinations in lids.

Itching, smarting, and burning sensation in eyes.

Nocturnal agglutination of lids.

Pressive pain in l. inner canthus, as from a stye.

Styes.

Ulcer in the internal canthi (pustular swelling of l. inner canthus) like a lachrymal fistula.

Eyes dull (sunken), and clouded.

Jerking and quivering of eyes.

Convulsed or prominent eyes.

Variegated areola round candle.

Pain in the eyes, as from rubbing with a woolen cloth, diminished on moving the lids.

Pressure in the left eye, as from a stye on the lids.

Pressure in the left inner canthus, as from a stye, with lachrymation of the eyes.

Pressive pain in the right inner canthus.

Pressure in both the upper eyelids.

Pressure in the eyes.

Sensation behind the right eyelid, as of a hard body.

Sudden jerks on the upper margin of the right orbit, and on other parts, with acutely painful stupefaction of the head.

Sudden, acutely painful dull shocks on the outer side of the upper margin of the left orbit.

Tensive stitch in the left eyeball, most violent when moving it.

Burning shooting in the right eye, toward the outer canthus.

Fine shooting burning in the left canthus.

Violent, short, burning stitches in the lids of the right eye, more toward the outer canthus.

Burning pain in the left lower eyelid.

Burning in the eyes.

Itching in the inner canthus.

Itching in the left eyeball, going off somewhat by rubbing.

Smarting in the eyes, as after rubbing with a woolen cloth.

Nightly agglutination of the eyes, and weakness of the same by day.

Suppurating swelling on the inner canthus of the left eye, like a fistula lachrymalis.

Contraction of the eyelids, with redness of the white in the eye and a burning sensation.

Quivering on the right inner canthus.

Quivering of the left eye, for a week.

Twitching of the eyes.

The eyes protrude and are painful as after weeping.

Weary, dim, sunken eyes (aft. 2 d.).

Dim eyes.

The pupils first contracted, then dilated.

By candle-light he sees a rainbow.

Weak, lusterless eyes.

Pupils contracted.

Pustular swelling at inner canthus of left eye, like a lachrymal fistula.

Pressive pain in inner canthus, as from a stye.

Biting in eyes, as from rubbing with a woolen cloth.

Agglutination of lids at night.

Vision

Sees a rainbow about the candlelight,

Brow and orbit

A pimple on the left eyebrow, with burning by itself and with pressive pain when touched,

Sudden sensitive dull thrusts in the outer side of the upper margin of the left orbit,

Jerklike drawing tearing externally above the left eyebrow,

Drawing pressure in the upper margin of the left orbit,

Sudden jerks on the upper margin of the right orbit and in other parts, with sensitive stupefaction of the head,

In the upper part of the right orbit, shootings which penetrate from before backward into the substance of the brain (forty-second day),

Lids.

Stye in the inner angle of the right eye,

Pustular swelling of the left inner canthus, like a lachrymal fistula,

Twitching in the right inner canthus,

Pressure in both upper lids,

Pressive pain in the right inner canthus,

Pressure in the left inner canthus, as from a stye, with lachrymation,

Constriction of the eyelids, with redness of the white of the eyes and a burning sensation,

Sensation as of a hard substance behind the right eyelid,

Burning pain in the left lower lid,

Small violent burning stitches in the lids of the right eye, more towards the outer canthus,

Fine sticking burning in the left canthus,

Itching in the upper eyelids on each side, with slight swelling (thirty-third and thirty-fifth days),

Itching in the inner canthus,

Lachrymal Apparatus.

Acute itching in the right lachrymal caruncula (thirty-second and thirty-third days),

Ball.

Shootings in the globe of the left eye, in the evening (thirty-sixth day),

Tensive stitch in the left eyeball, most violent on moving it,

Itching in the left eyeball, somewhat relieved by rubbing,

Pupil.
