Burning and redness on the upper lip, first on the left and after a few hours on the right side,

Burning on the inner surface of the lower lip,

Much burning of the lips and tongue,

Stitches in the lips and tongue,


Drawing through the chin towards the ear and to the head, though not painful, soon after drinking,

Fine stitches on the chin, extending upward through the jaw,


It seemed as though she could not open the jaws; she became very anxious on account of this condition, so much like lockjaw; the next day a constant aching soreness in the jaws,
