2nd plead for suggestions!
I originally posted with hope for what dr's thought was orbital pseudotumor. Since then I've been told it is Thyroid Eye Disease/Graves Disease. I was increased to 100mg per day of prednisone, had 10 low dose radiation treatments and got down to about 30mg of Prednisone most recently and my symptoms started up again(which are eye muscle inflammation,double vision, eyelid swelling and some pain) I was and am being treated at a teaching hospital and think these are good doctors, but this is coming up on one year since this problem started. My labs are all fine..blood sugar slightly elevated, but everything else except the side effects of pred check out. Now they want to try the drug Imuran, which I've read similar horror stories much like pred. Is there anyone on this forum that has some suggestions?? I know this is inflammation based and I'm willing to work on that,but meanwhile I'm looking for help with this eye problem!! Gratefully awaiting some suggestions!ddcuriosity on 2007-01-04
