Dear all,
I have this pain the jaw when i open my mouth wide.I had Mumps for two days and that was 40 days back. There is pain when i also touch the gland below my tongue on the right side.I am taking Rhus tox30 since two days but the gland can be felt. There is slight pain. Can i continue with Rhus tox 30 or what do you suggest?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
As it is a gland problem I would leave the Rhus tox and switch to Hepar Sul 6x twice a day for a week and wait a further week to judge result.

If there is still aproblem use Silicea - or Silica - 6x

Silecia after Hepar is one of the possibilities.

Better to wait for the report of the patient, rather than suggesting a follower right now.

What is the hurry?

Another possibility, and one which would personally be my first consideration, is paratoidinum (the mumps nosode). If you are still experiencing problems from/symptoms of an infection which should have long since run it's course, the nosode will usually clear up these 'after-effects'.
