Adenoid Problem

Hi
I have been suffering from breathlesness ,tightness of chest , heart aches , ear aches , soar throat and even strain in the eye for over three years . An ENT specialist said that it was due to too much hair in my nose and even excess of wax in my ear . Yesterday i consulted my family doc. who told me that all these problems were due to an enlarged adenoid as a result of which the nasal secretions went into my stomach/lungs continuously and casued all the above problems(the heart ache and stomach ache being due to acidity casued by these secretions) . He told me to take steam at least once a day and told me to buy saline nasal drops and also take Rinostat Plus (Acetaminophen,Phenylpropanolamine HCl and Chlorphenyramine tablets U.S.P. ) and Tinamide - 500 Tablets IP (Tinidazole based tablets) for over a week.

Is there a permanent cure for this problem?
