My sister, who is 68 years old, has been suffering with back pain since 1992. During these past 14 years she has been diagnosed with everything from scoliosis to Tarlov cysts on the spinal cord, and has had a variety of treatments. On August 10th she underwent treatment at Johns Hopkins Hospital for the Tarlov cysts whereby the cysts were drained and filled with a human glue. The prognosis was either complete freedom of pain immediately, or no relief and even possibly worse pain. She fell into the worse pain category. Presently she is being treated with drugs, including methadon. She has no relief and is, understandably, very depressed to the point of talking suicide. Can you offer any help?Chuck D. on 2006-09-05

The same remedies Rhus Tox 1M, Hypericum 200 and Arnica 30c
can hopefully help but in your sister's case I would recommend the Arnica taken 3 times daily.
It is a shame that she consented to the surgery as there is every possibility that she may have been more comfortable with the therapy indicated above.
She is advised to stop all other medication if she used this therapy.
