Edema(swelling) remains after fracture

My Uncle who is around 60 years old had suffered a fracture of his foot.

Now, the fracture is healed and he is able to move around.

But, there is still swelling(edema) on the top of the foot.This is persisting inspite of following all the advices of the Orthopaedic consultant.

The fracture was on the foot and the edema is also present at the same location.

During the healing of the fracture he had taken the following homeopathic remedies: ARNICA-200, SYMPHYTUM-200, RUTA-200.

Kindly advice if there is any specific remedy to reduce/eliminate the edema.

Its now around 2 months since the fracture happened.

I would like to caution you about using Nat Sulph 6x in the dosage of 4 tablets 3 times daily as at this dosage it is possible to prove Asthma.

This has actually occurred to a patient whom I was treating for hyperacidity who mistakenly used Nat Sulph instead of Nat Phos 6x and had difficulty in breathing. This was quickly resolved by stopping the remedy and using that prescribed by me, Nat Phos 6x.

What u say has me concerned. I have been using tissue salt remedies in 6X and 12X very liberally without any fear of any proving or side-effect.

Does anybody else also has any such experience while using tissue salts in 6X or 12X ?

My cousin who is in her fifties ha severe arthiritus problems for the last three years. Recently for over a month she is unable to walk or lie down as there is acute pain on her right side hip and leg. her feet are very swollen too. The blood reports say evry thing is within the normal range but after multiple Xrays the doctor has told that her hip joint is damaged as the socket has dissolved so she would have to go in for a surgery to insert a metallic ring for holding the joint ball. Please do let me know if the syphytum and calc phos or any other medication can help in this case and if it's advisable to avoid the surgery .

Dr. Sharma has selected good medicine. I think in tissue salts it gives no harm in using 6x or 12x.
However, I also suggest One doze of Hypericum-200 one doze at night after 4 days.

I agree, Tissue Salts are needed in this instance.

The foot may have healed, however, what is needed now is a more mineral compound to physically improve the fracture.
