Hypertonic Pelvic Floor

Hello,

I have suffered from pelvic pain for 9 years now. I've been to many doctors and physical therapists. Nothing has helped me, and I feel I am getting worse. I am a 34-year-old woman and am a virgin.

My symptoms:
- Tight pelvic floor muscles, with multiple trigger points on both sides. Even inserting a finger causes pain and spasm.
- Urethral, vaginal, and rectal pain and spasm.
- Urethral and rectal burning after stool, which lasts for hours.
- Rectal spasm during and after stool. A doctor told me they thought this was proctalgia fugax or levator ani syndrome.
- Urinary and stool urgency.
- Bruised and aching feeling in my sacrum, coccyx, and rectum. Worse when sitting. I have had two MRIs and everything looks normal. My physical therapist thinks the tight muscles of my pelvic floor are pulling on my coccyx and causing pain and spasming down into the anus/rectum.
- Sacroilliac joint dysfunction.
- Lower back and right hip pain, which radiates to my thigh and down my leg.
- Stress and anxiety make all of the above worse.

I would love some help. I've studied homeopathy, tinctures, herbal remedies, and even allopathic remedies, and I cannot find anything that provides lasting relief. I have tried Arnica 30 and 200, with no relief. I have also tried Hypericum 200, 1M, and 10M. Hypericum 10M has helped calm the rectal spasming after stool, but has not provided any lasting relief. I would very much appreciate some advice on where to go from here. This pain has greatly impacted my life and I'm very depressed and feeling hopeless.

Thank you so much.

Curious to see if you have had any change after causticum?
I too have pelvic floor issues… Not as severe as yours but I just need to deeply with many of your symptomology’s.
I also have sacroiliac symptoms/ low back ( L4-5 issue) ith QL muscles, right buttock muscles overly tight and radiates into hip and thigh, IT band and hamstrings. Varies greatly by the day and can be greatly aggravated some nights in bed… I am constantly on the floor with two different sizes of balls and stretching to work out the tension Also go to physical therapy for pelvic floor and seem to go back-and-forth with whether it works or not.
Years ago I had a fall and hit my coccyx bone in after this I had severe pain in the coccyx bone for one year… That went away but then the other symptomology ‘s of bladder syndrome similar in some ways but not really too interstitial cystitis.
Have you tried the Banerji protocol for cystitis. Their first protocol to try is Cantharis 200 C. If it doesn’t work and usually it does they say an 80% of people but then you move on and take the second protocol after a clearing of one single dose of Camphor 200 C. The second protocol consists of taking medorrhinum 200c . The other suggestion they have for both bladder infections or cystitis is Thuja 30c
I would try those of the second and third protocol of Thuja and see if that helps you. If either one of them do they suggest you stay on it for two months even after symptoms have abated. You would take it twice a day in the morning and at night
I have found the most help from taking aloe vera from Desert harvest company. The symptoms for me for my bladder specifically and feel like it’s going into a bladder infection and I can feel chills and extremely tired and yet there is no infection. I can feel as though my bladder or urethra does not give me the signal to go or it can be the other way around and I can have a great hesitation stopping and starting… Literally after taking the desert harvest the symptoms of the bladder issues are greatly anated . ... I mean greatly abated!!
I had gone into most severe flare I’ve ever had last year and decided to try this product and started out taking 20 capsules a day for the first two days and then went all the way down to six and I feel like if I do the sixth consistently I am doing pretty good overall… Now to figure out the muscular issues.
The other suggestion is to try rhus tox 30 c and also Colocynthis.
I have had relief from both of these for periods of time I feel… When you read up on Colocynthis you may find it says for left-sided issues yet Dr. homeo suggest that it works for right side hip issues.
I also get the anal and vaginal spasms but very infrequently thank god. Making sure that I am not constipated makes a big difference also
