Baby constipation 7 months old
My baby is 7 months old. Started solids . He is now constipated and grunting to pass stools he wants to pass butseems like afraid of pain. Pls help. I gave 3 nux vomica30cBut no use

1. How often does he pass stools? every 2 days ? 3 days?
2. Color of the stool?
3. Consistency?
4. Shape?
5. How is his appetite?
6. How is his sleep?
7. Are you still breastfeeding him?

After starting solids he is passing stools 2 times a day.
But before that once in 2 days
Color greenish mustard
Now it is very hard balls
Oval shapes
He is eating well.
He wants to be held to sleep.
Someone hasto sleep with him.He is waking up and crying on pain. Arching his back. Calms down of we hold him.
Yes I am breastfeeding
Recently I got a clogged duct which caused low supply. So he was supplemented with formula. I also gave him cereal which I think has iron that caused constipation adding to less milk.
I gave 3 nux vomica30c .But he shows that urge of passing but unable to push it.
He cries in pain when there is a bowel movement
But before that once in 2 days

Please give Alumina 30c twice a day for 3 days and report back in a week.
1 dose is 2 pills or drops.

Nux vomica seems to be a good remedy but you said you have tried...
What potency was it?
And other possible remedy is Lycopodium.
